I did a quick review these are my stats (based on newcastle exchange and villa attending):
ST 1 - ATT 11 - EXCH - 8 (used and sold)
ST 2 - ATT 11 - EXCH - 7 (used and sold) - 1 Empty (listed but never sold brighton wed night)

I would be very disappointed in city contacted me and what determines a "proper explanation".

I think we have all been down this road pre-covid when the limit was 6 listed.

I understand this is to target the non attendees and non-resellers - the 3.5k you referenced earlier..

I dont let the seat go unattended as im hungry for the ££ so either enjoy it myself or actively use the exchange. Thanks

My understanding is that there isn’t a limit on the amount of times / number of League games a Blue can list their ticket for resale.
 
Am I right in saying the renewal deadline is May 20th? Bit early isn’t it and quite frankly it will be a bit of a piss take too if we have a champions league final to try scrimp and save for 11 days after it. Surely could extend that deadline a couple of weeks. That deadline could be a reason why a lot can’t/won’t go to Paris.

Hopefully! I can’t join the DD as they said they can’t except Irish banks even though there’s no problem for them to use it on the cup schemes, work that one out! Won’t effect me though hopefully, I should be ok but I’d be gutted for those who might miss out over it for the sake of an extra couple weeks.

I didn’t know about the international bank issue. Like you say, it’s probably a good idea to extend the deadline.

realistically i'm going to struggle to make more than 6/7 games next season. Does anyone know if theres a limit on seat exchanges?
and second question, does using the seat exchange and selling your seat count as the seat being 'used'?

Don't want to receive an email saying i'm banned due to the seat not being used enough.

Ten games maximum*. If you put it up for sale but it doesn’t sell then it counts as ‘used’. From this season onwards you can sell 3 weeks prior to the game (used to be just 1 week) and the games against the other top six will be guaranteed money back whether it sells or not.

*Edit: To clarify, you can list it as many times as you want but it can only be sold a maximum ten times. Not sure if you, say, list 15 games of which you sell 10 and miss 5, that they wouldn’t be in touch about whether a seasoncard is appropriate.

Away on holiday for the last home match, ticket put up for sale and it has been snapped up. Glad somebody will be there in my seat to cheer the lads on.
 
Any news on renewals and relocation dates, I am being moved from 204 and wish to see a seating plan first.
 
If you wish to relocate, you should renew your existing seat online, over the phone, or let it auto-renew.
You will then be given the opportunity to relocate from your existing seat on Monday 6th June either online or by calling us on +44 (0)161 444 1894.
We will email all Season Ticket holders when the relocate window opens. Supporters impacted by stadium changes this season will be informed directly of their priority relocation window.

  • You will receive a guaranteed refund of one-nineteenth of the price paid for your Season Ticket (1/19, one home Premier League fixture), if you list your ticket for any of the Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur fixtures, regardless of whether it resells or not.
  • Seats listed on Ticket Exchange will now be available for other supporters to purchase three weeks before the respective fixture, rather than one week before in 2021/22.

This is an interesting question and one where the club got themselves into a bit of a muddle initially by having two separate, competing objectives.

On the one hand, they don't want empty seats, so they want to encourage people to sell their unused tickets on the exchange whenever possible. On the other hand, they didn't want people buying season tickets they weren't going to use for the majority of games, therefore they restricted the number of times you could list tickets to 6 at first.

You can't really reconcile the two objectives so we agreed to compromise and increased it to 10, which is just over half the games. But I don't think the club are going to be too prescriptive about enforcing this limit for the moment at least. And listing your ticket is all you need to do. It doesn't matter whether it sells or not (obviously it does to you but not to the club).

In the discussions we've had with the club, it's been clear that tickets listed on the exchange will sell in the vast majority of cases. Maybe not for Watford on a Wednesday night but they will for most other games. We're also discussing other options that we feel will make listing on the exchange more attractive to fans, including how much you get for selling the ticket. They've already introduced guaranteed full refunds for Category A games and faster reimbursement, as @mancityvstoke has kindly highlighted. Our view is that (a) Ticket Exchange is easy to use and (b) once people use it, they'll use it again. So we're telling the club to focus more on marketing the exchange more aggressively.

Also, is there a way we can accommodate people like yourself, who can only make a small number of games, without forcing you to give up your seat? For example, something like a 1-2-3 ticket, that allows you to priority book one Cat A game, two Cat B and 3 Cat C (or 3 Cat B and 2 Cat C).

Supporters who purchase the Premier League-only season ticket will have the option to add FA Cup, Carabao Cup and European tickets on a competition-by-competition basis.

The cup season ticket is being introduced for the first time, guaranteeing access to all cup games at Old Trafford for official members.

Further flexibility will be provided by the launch of a ticket buy-back scheme, allowing fans to sell unwanted season tickets back to the club on a match-by-match basis where there is demand.
