I've done likewise this morning Len and was left with the same question. My understanding though is that, if your current seasoncard is not on DD, it won't renew automatically for next season. Consequently, anyone switching to the Value Gold option in that scenario need do nothing in relation to the renew option for their existing seat. Also, I can't envisage a scenario whereby the system would allow one individual to have two seasoncards against their details. Hope that makes sense. Otherwise, it's the fresh hell of the ticket office for the definitive answer!My son has opted for a Value Gold online today, but the website said if you want to apply for a value gold, you have to put it through as a NEW purchase. Did this, set up the DD etc. His account is still showing his old ticket, and the option to renew. Do I have to do anything with this, do I advise he is not renewing, and is he now guaranteed a value gold? If any one can shed any light on this, that would be great, as we don't want to end up with 2 tickets, and we don't want to end up with none!!! Cheers
