Maybe it's because I'm a second tier dweller, but I've always thought it's really shit.
I'm watching the same grainy video that you are so no, not 100% sure.
I'd forgotten the guy walking backward, I was thinking about the young lad(?) who seemed to throw himself at the stewards legs as the 3rd idiot. The guy walking backward with the phone camera was possibly deliberately being a dick as he swung his left arm out and clipped the goalie in the face, whether he did it on purpose or not is impossible to say from the video.
Perhaps they wanted to make a big W out of them to symbolise our win.The vandalism of the goal posts was an absolute riddy
"Once again, we'd like to ask all supporters to please leave the pitch so we can present the trophy.Still think my idea of a moat round the pitch with sharks with fricking laser beams on their heads swimming in is the best solution.
Squid Game style"Once again, we'd like to ask all supporters to please leave the pitch so we can present the trophy.
The snipers will open fire in 5 minutes."
No. Blues did that themselves.Amazing how the players pulled out a miracle to win yet another league title, but some absolute fucking turbo-cretins have managed to turn the story into "City fans assault opponent, vandalize own ground."
Best moment of Jimmy glass life 'best moment of my life being carried off the pitch by 7k fans'Maybe it's because I'm a second tier dweller, but I've always thought it's really shit.
Yeah, reading that back I see how it's not clear, but that's the point I was trying to make.No. Blues did that themselves.
I’ve not seen footage but I bet Gerrard was lively on his toes down that tunnel. If you look at their faces I think you get an idea! They start off with huge smiles because they’ve won, quickly turning to fear and letting the stewards grab them and hustle them off the pitch as quickly as possible.
It's just pure unbridled joy, and it's been part of City culture for as long as anyone cares to remember.I might be in the minority, but I love pitch invasions. (FFS, grow up jrb!)

Villa fan blog video of the match from the Villa away end.
A bit of guff at the start, but once it gets to the ground, it's good.
Shows the pitch invasion for quiet a bit viewed from the Villa end.
Well worth watching. Stick with it.
I've not seen it but l trust your opinion. This is 100 per cent accurate. The video is pretty conclusive. Not an assault in a million years and yet some people in the media want to twist the narrative. I wonder why?
