I'd forgotten the guy walking backward, I was thinking about the young lad(?) who seemed to throw himself at the stewards legs as the 3rd idiot. The guy walking backward with the phone camera was possibly deliberately being a dick as he swung his left arm out and clipped the goalie in the face, whether he did it on purpose or not is impossible to say from the video.

I think it's already happened by the time that clip starts to be honest. He's already holding his back of his head so I suspect the sky cameras haven't picked it up and this is the best they came up with. The guy won't get away with it as the clubs stadium cameras will have pick it up no doubt

If you look at their faces I think you get an idea! They start off with huge smiles because they’ve won, quickly turning to fear and letting the stewards grab them and hustle them off the pitch as quickly as possible.

I’ve not seen footage but I bet Gerrard was lively on his toes down that tunnel.

This is 100 per cent accurate. The video is pretty conclusive. Not an assault in a million years and yet some people in the media want to twist the narrative. I wonder why?

I've not seen it but l trust your opinion.
What was more worrying from EL 3 was the number of kids toddlers with parents but some older ones all tear-arsing around in different direction. One girl of 6/7 nearly got bowled over by a big hulk full of beer which could have easily broken boxes. The media would have made meals of that.
Or else they will find something else.

Don't mind a pitch invasion, but leave the players alone. Don't goad them, don't tap them on the head, don't push them.

Just enjoy the moment and leave the players to get off the pitch. Like 99.9% of the people on the pitch did. But you just need that 0.1% to spoil it for everyone.
