Benfica are close to signing him, surely we can hijack it bring him, seems we are building good connections with River plate too, much easier to buy him straight out with a clause considering Phillips don’t have one + going through agent changes

Kalvin Phillips for £35m would be an excellent piece of business if we can tempt him away from his boyhood club.

His style of play and personality look to be a great fit for City.
