I find this a weird question and somehow it shows no respect towards Ake. I’m sure it’s not what you wanna say, but do you think Ake or any other player wants to play fourth choice?

Exactly right, a well run club is always striving to replace players that are leaving with better ones it's one of the ways a team improves.

Ake is a brilliant fourth choice centre back who filled in well at left back. I'd be disappointed to see him leave but I understand he needs game time and I wouldn't be heartbroken if we went into the season with three first choice centre backs and a right back who can play there. But I don't think we will.

Thank fuck he refused to play ball.

The player is overrated and we would probably have never got the best Captain we possibly could find.

Much like the others we have 'missed out on' it has worked very much in our favour.

There’s very little chance of that. Pep would play Phillips/Rodri first.
