There's going to be a season soon where we don't win a thing, I don't know how some will cope.
Threads about how it’s the end of the road for Pep etc.

I must admit, I'm missing a good relegation scrap. This being top of the league is making my neck ache. There's going to be a season soon where we don't win a thing, I don't know how some will cope.
I find the constant need for 3 points in every game far more nerve wracking than i ever did our relegation battles.I must admit, I'm missing a good relegation scrap. This being top of the league is making my neck ache.
At least a good bottom 6 scrap would flush out the fannies we seem to have acquired as 'fans' these last 10 years.
I’m still relieved when we get to bloody 40 points….it’s a weird feeling, but I genuinely, and honestly, can’t help itI must admit, I'm missing a good relegation scrap. This being top of the league is making my neck ache.

Shite mate, he's only got one foot.Thought Salah was superb on Saturday - his technique is right up there with the best that have played the game. Forget the rest of them - he's their talisman and it plays right into their 'more than a club' narrative. Meh!
He's shite mate, he's only got one premier league. Can't under estimate VVD he's the best CB in the prem. (It hurts saying that) CTID

Tha under cooked tactic won't always work though. Its an interesting point. Im thinking we have a slow start. The previous few years point to that. A deliberate tactic it seems, to go into seasons slightly undercooked and it has proved the right way to go, as we have won 4 out of 5 leagues. So hard to argue with. The world cup is the random thing, as you say it could trip us up when we usually go on a run....
That sounded like one of those that Caragher and Neville do which is make their minds up before they have watched the replay. As they are watching it with you they stick to their original Idea despite a slow motion reply showing the opposite to the words coming out of their mouthNot a biased comment. Some will say 'Got the ball and got the man - penalty'. My opinion - no way a pen.
No tactic works all the time. But 4 times out of 5 is a good ratio, dont see us as having a transition season, but could see us drop some points early on, before we get into our stride.Tha under cooked tactic won't always work though.
After seeing how we played on Saturday I think we are in possibily for a transition season.
It should benefit us more. This season more than any.Tha under cooked tactic won't always work though.

He always has been. What a CH to be honest..mind you he was tol at Celtic and S' oton so no suprisesCan't under estimate VVD he's the best CB in the prem. (It hurts saying that) CTID
SIlva MUST stay this season and we mudt have a plan to replace him.Shipping out players who know the pep way (possibly Bernado), is not going to strengthen the squad.
We will be under par I fear for the first couple of months.
Hmmm Salah , VVD. Thiago..they have a fair few that Pep would pick tbf..imagine a combined squad! Amazing to watch tgat. KDB on tolp form linking with Salah and Foden, Thiago mopping up everythingon paper every premier league manager would pick our team rather than scousers... But still we look half hearted and we get done over.
