Jolly goodMaybe you actually starting to see the whole context of discussion before making assumption based on summarized text on twitter.
This thing of prem proven player is BS. Not only PM players tend to be equal to other leagues, but they are far more expensive.Still hard going from a prem proven pep player at left back to someone from a bum league
We'll just go tour to a bunch of new grounds again, be fine.Oh well. It was good while it lasted
I can't speak for anyone who thinks that, as I think we're FAR from a disaster. In fact I think Cancelo can play LB against most teams but can also more importantly give Walker cover on the right. JWE can be the young guy on the left in a pinch. That said we need a left footed 1st team-ability LB to complete the squad. Going into the season without one would absolutely be cause for concern, not PANIC. not DISASTER, concern. That said I 100% expect us to land that type of player before the window closes. You can't lump everyone into the sky is falling group. I think we're the best team in the world AND I'm concerned. The two are not mutually exclusively.Love how there's one report about pep being unhappy with the balance (a fair and balanced assumption based on the standings of the squad) and many are using it to pretend their comments of the club being an utter fucking disaster are actually spot on.
I did read it. If someone wants go over it line by line they're most welcome.Okay so it sounds that like me you don”t know what it was he said and are unsure who he is supposed to have said it to. Hopefully somebody at some point will have read the actual article and tell us exactly what he said and the context of what he said.
They could always jump out of them.I see the head wobblers are out in force. Plenty of window left lads.
The defensive sarcasm about how we are abject failures who have won nothing recently really is tedious. Those of us with the temerity to be questioning are somehow, spoilt, lesser fans. Twas ever thus.
I don't think it's that, it's more that just, on a personal level at least, I recognize that we've had some spectacular years and the squad will be going through a small bit of transition which will take time and I'm relaxed enough about that. Might not win the league this year but we'll be back. The defensive sarcasm about how we are abject failures who have won nothing recently really is tedious. Those of us with the temerity to be questioning are somehow, spoilt, lesser fans. Twas ever thus.
Well yeah, it'd be a massive fucking problem. Can you imagine the flapping if Cancelo or Walker get injured at West Ham.
I remember another set of fans who were quite famous for saying that, because they won everything in the past, they would continue to do so going forward. Can’t think who it was now. I know it didn't turn out well. The defensive sarcasm about how we are abject failures who have won nothing recently really is tedious. Those of us with the temerity to be questioning are somehow, spoilt, lesser fans. Twas ever thus.
Except the guy that's moving the Chelsea you mean. All Fb's weve been linked with aren't good enough to play for us
We're hardly plucky underdogs without a pot to piss in. 4 out of 5 is brilliant, but there is something the club are always going on about , which we fall short in yearly. Our squad usually stretched by then.Maybe because every season those with the temerity to be questioning are proved wrong as we are involved in every later stage of every competition and win 4 out of 5 league titles.
Agreed. The club rightly have lofty ambitions as should the fans. If we feel the club has neglected a key area in the squad it’s not being spoilt or a flapper to point that out. We're hardly plucky underdogs without a pot to piss in. 4 out of 5 is brilliant but there is something the club are always going on about , which we fall short in yearly. Our squad usually stretched by then.
