Social media full of "bro just go" types. Are they trolls or just kids, foreign or recent fans? Don't think they've been to a match. Last year he would have gone if a decent offer came in, stayed and had a fantastic season for us. Let's see. Barca can't register or pay it's current players. We all love Bernie on the pitch.

They may well be able to very soon, but as it stands they’re still not able to register their new signings.
No they haven't, only Friendlies. They are not registered to play in La Liga yet.

sounds like he's realistic in knowing the club he wants to go to is broke as fuck and can't afford him.
It's literally a 'computer says no' automated process at the moment - in a bid to remove some of the corruption. It doesn't benefit La Liga for Barca to be a shadow of its former self but it also doesn't benefit them to help perpetuate financial impropriety & huge debt.

I’d read the full article above, it wasn’t said quite like the snippet they have chosen to share. He’s said he’s happy here but it’s a good read, gives an interesting insight to agreements we have with the players.
I still think the ultimate plan on City’s side is a Bernardo fee, added to the leftovers from this years net spent trophy, funds the Bellingham bud next year to refresh the midfield and prevent Liverpool from signing him

Exactly mate, which is why I think he will stay longer and extend. Realistically him and his agent will know what the situation at Barca is and from a footballing point of view it's absolutely naff to leave City where he's valued and a key player competing on all fronts.

Too easy to put it down to those people. We've had long term fans on here saying the same thing. One was even going off on one calling Bernardo's partner a bitch last night.
