There are numerous footballers of undoubted talent that never reached anywhere near their expected levels because they started to believe their own headline's when things were going well.


Our club for me had one of the most naturally talented players I have ever seen play the game, Georgie Kinkladze, for me this guy should have been mentioned in the same breath as Maradona or Messi but outside of Manchester and Georgia he is unknown, because he started to believe his own hype and did not have the mental strength to become a great.

Mbappe needs to get away from PSG and France quickly before his career self destructs.

Wonder how good he would have been if he joined an elite team instead of us

Not so sure, I think he will be off after the world cup, and I could see even the owners leaving PSG, after the world cup is over do they need PSG anymore?

Not many teams can afford Mbappe's salary he is tied down at PSG for 3 years
 
I actually can't believe some people wouldn't have wanted neymar. In this city team he would rip teams a new arsehole. He's got ridiculous quality that is incomparable with any of our wingers currently. Foden has the talent to be potentially that level, but there are no guarantees.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who rates him. I understand his antics don't endear him, but his ability can't be questioned.

I just said he has the talent- I'm not sure he will either. He's an great player already, but I'm not sure he's really kicked on enough last season to convince me just yet that he's going to be one of the worlds best. Believe me I would wish it on him more than anyone else. This season will be a big one for him.
