Queen Elizabeth II

New money definitely. New stamps definitely. New anthem? Just a change of wording.

R.I.P

Whilst I don't agree with the notion of the royal family I do understand the importance of what has happened. She has devoted her life to this country with dignity. Sure the older generation will feel this more, my missus is in bits, but to give your life up, like Phillip did, to serve a country for 70 years demands respect from all people.

I'm off to raise a glass.
New money and stamps will take sometime to come into circulation - especially the money. The existing stamps and money will still be legal. With the anthem just one word changed.

(I may have misunderstood the original message as I have heard people say that money with the Queen's head on it will ask be withdrawn and immediately replaced with new coins and notes.)

I'm a royalist and God damn proud of it. Rip Queen Elizabeth 2nd. God save the king.
I was four when George V1 died and his daughter became queen so she is effectively the only monarch I have known. This is very little on which to base a broad statement of royalism or monarchism. All I can say is that I have been fortunate to have lived for seventy years under the best example of a monarch. It has been very easy to be a royalist under this queen. I fear it will be nowhere near as easy in the years to come.

Extremely doubtful coinage never has been before, its simply replaced as it wears out as for notes who knows the monarch's image was never on before HMQE2.

Our Clive’s doing a very respectful job on BBC,absolute Top bloke.
Clive is quality, reflects people's thoughts and leaves those being interviewed as centre of attention. Huw Edwards extraordinarily pompous, as for niclos witchell never been the same since he sat on them lesbians!

Her heart was indeed broken. God bless you ma'am
Boris offered her a normal funeral as a special occasion, let’s not forget she declined this offer as the rest of the population didn’t get one, during lockdown.

She sat on her own mourning her husband purely because we had to do the same for our relatives.

What on earth is Trevor Sinclair tweeting this evening, as someone else said if you have nothing good to say then say nothing at all Trevor!

Sinclair is just a tit, tries to make out he’s in love with every club he ever played for so the fans will like him on Twitter and trying to attach himself to anything he can, he was born the wrong end of the east Lancs I think
