Queen Elizabeth II

Well only slightly. It means I don't have to do something as cover for a colleague that will be rearranged. I work from home most days anyway.

A day off when I can't use the subscriptions I already have and where plenty of other stuff is already shut. But meh isn't it.
I’ve got a couple of pals who don’t like the monarchy politically and still work, just about, they’re well happy to get a day off.

Stay in watch a few films or go for a walk, I’ll watch the funeral but then go out for something to eat.

Buy it wasn't called Buckingham Palace or used as a Royal residence of the monarch. So it is "arguable", depends on the context of the statement.
I’ve used mr Google and been pedantic here but I think it’s fair to say it’s older than 1776:

“Originally known as Buckingham House, the building at the core of today's palace was a large townhouse built for the Duke of Buckingham in 1703 on a site that had been in private ownership for at least 150 years. It was acquired by King George III in 1761 as a private residence for Queen Charlotte and became known as The Queen's House”

Will you be stepping out in full military uniform or just go in an understated black tweed and subdued accessories?

Fuck me. I was referring to the building. I didn’t know if it’s name had ever changed since it was built or if it wasn’t always a royal residence I would have to take that into account. No wonder people don’t bother posting on here

Naughty boy, please sit at the back. Didn't you once call out "lurkers"?

The Heineken John Henry Lees Walker & Homfrays Red Tower Lager Royal Moss Side Brewery McEwan Lager Harp brewery, agrees very much with your post.

It’s not, just over 70 years earlier Buckingham Palace was opened than the US declared Independence as a sovereign nation.

Not a pop at our American friends, I generally love America and their people but it’s historical fact.
Bits of the States (e.g. the colony of Virginia) were in place before the first bit of what became Buckingham Palace.

See, it's arguable.

Quality piece of kit the Bar Six. Cadburys if I remember rightly. They should bring it back as a limited edition.

Yes they should sir, and without fucking about making the chocolate thin. That bar had some heft, it was like a KitKat on steroids.
