Historical fact is that successful colonies on the American mainland were established in the 16th Century. And Native Americans were there long before that.

Ah no, you misunderstood me. I'm not in London. Those figures were obtained off Sky news. I'd love to be there on Monday, but it just isn't possible, I'm afraid. To any BMers who will be there; I won't tell you to "enjoy" it, that'd be crass. But try to remember every moment of the experience. You'll be witnessing a historic state occasion.

Neither were the United States of America, the country.

And there's no record of "Buckingham Palace" called that before 1791...

And their country has been there for about 80 million years. It just wasn't theirs.

You’re mistaking land for country.

Buckingham House was there, same building, well part of the palace now, owned by the King before 1791.
