Nothing weird about it. The gothic style is just stunning. Even more so knowing they were built without all the tools available to us today.

That procession was glorious wow

I’ve been ok up until that procession. Never seen anything like that in my lifetime and I’ll admit I was in tears . Brings back memories of my mum who would have loved this . God I love this country .

I couldn’t even begin to imagine what it'd cost to build a replica of Westminster Abbey today. I'm not talking about a DH Gate replica now, I'm talking a carbon copy of the abbey, down to the last candlestick. It'd be frightening. Same with the Palace of Westminster, St Paul's etc etc. There's some stunning architecture in London.

There's been a church on that site from around 900AD

Henry III rebuilt what we know as Westminster Abbey in the 13th century. He almost bankrupt the county building it. Around £2M and it took 27 years to build

For most of the world it’s just another Monday so I would be surprised if a very large number of people didn’t at least have a look, maybe whilst at work or at home.
