Scored goals although it did slow in the last 18 months. He had pace on the ball that unsettled the opposite defence. I am not advocating we should have kept him but he was great for City overall.No no no!
Think back how he disappeared every game against Liverpool. How he kept falling over the ball, especially when he was 2 yards out from an open goal.
He had his moments I grant you but overall we got a good deal of money for a player that was regressing. Just look at him now at Chelsea. He certainly isn’t delivering much for them.
We should be setting our sights higher now and aim for an A lister player who will get bums off seats again.

tempt?I'd love to see if we could tempt arsenal with a bid for Tierney. Admittedly has injury concerns but he's the type of player who woul improve our left side and also put great service into haaland

Our scouts in South America have done well with Alvarez however it wasnt like he wasnt known in Argentina. He was one of the top scorers.
Our scouts elsewhere have given us Gomez and Phillips.

I can't reply directly due to the samsung update. No im not happy right now. The club gets the best manager and each year gives him a squad with glaring holes in it. No left back, no striker, letting players go with no decent replacement. The last two years we've stopped being even slightly wise in the transfer market by going for the expensive star player and bringing in substandard players elsewhere. I dont have to be a happy clapper to be a fan, we are all blues.
