Anyone know when we last had a penalty at the swamp?Just had a look back over recent derby fixtures. The last time we had a penalty in the derby v them in league was in 2007.
United have had 12. That's incredible.

You are spot on with the " wake up " but ( and this is what is worrying ) WHY haven't we?Some truth in that,
Rags are fuckin shit, seen enough yesterday to confirm that but we are not playing well.

The only 2 proper sides with a lot of players at the thing were us and the Dippers.

'making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball'
Its so blindingly obvious that the goal had to be ruled out for offside-it is completely indefensible.

Attwell should be relegated to lower league refereeing for a few games. It was a terrible decision. Why didn't he go to the monitor to check ? He didn't need VAR. The law needs to change. Well done those 4 for breaking it down and discussing it so well.Well f**k me sideways! All 4 basically said it should of been disallowed.
On a side note, I notice Ratface is keeping quiet about it.

I recall the Stretford End going mad with boos when the whistle went thinking City had been given a free kick and then going crazy when realizing they'd been given a free kick - the ball was way, way above all the playersI was there too. I remember cheering with the rest of the blue cos we assumed it was a foul against us. Even Cantona threw his hands up before he realised he was given the foul!

Never got one whilst we had brilliant penalty takers like Balotelli, Elano and Yaya. We’ll get one next season and Mahrez will step up at The Stretford End lol.Over 30 years since we had one at the swamp.

Everyone naturally assumed it was a free kick to us as the ball was about 15/20 feet in the air at the time.
