I know it's not optimal. But surely we could get Chilwell from Chelsea with the spending they are doing

let's not kid ourselves here Aki is a central defender. The main reason we aren't creating chances like we used to is due to a lack of attacking from both left and right back positions. It needs rectifying but it looks like it will be summer now and I'm not expecting to win a thing this season because of it.
Yep, we aren't winning a thing and its down to not having Cancelo. Who else is going to mark Leon Bailey when we next play Villa or hold up Salah when we next play Liverpool? Wait, isn't that what Cancelo was doing? My bad...and forget the CL. Now who is going to keep Benzema onside in the 90th and then fail to close him if not Cancelo? We're doomed!

Not read through the whole thread but has anything come out about this? Assuming a fall out with Pep or something?

How come Dias is hardly featuring? In the past when he was injured Pep would throw him back in due to how much of an asset he was to the side. Feels like he’s barely had a look in since he got back to fitness.
Probably because Stones and Ake have been good, and Akanji has been mostly fine. Plus Dias wasn't in some spectacular form prior to his injury.

Reports with decent and respected City reporters that Cancelo has been a mardarse since at least the world cup, vague reports he's put some dodgy tackles in in training and generally brought the team down, and then fully saw his arse and confronted Pep and said he wanted to go on Friday when he found out he wasn't playing in the cup.

Pep losing the dressing room would be awful.

He 100% would leave and that’s the end of the era. No shot Man City dominate EPL like they have ever again.

Man City made the right decision to get rid of Cancelo's fucking ass.
ive noticed you a few times recently, will you please fuck off

Wouldn’t surprise me at all, always came across as a potentially stroppy one and never thought his personality really fit with the rest of the players.
