United will do whatever they can do move him on quickly and quietly IMO, anything else would be a PR disaster.

I think he'll resurface in League One or something like that in a year or so.

Agreed but not sure it's just relevant for footballers.
Rape convictions are really low. Many victims don't come forward, it's grim.

Look closer to home IMO, I think there are several clubs in lower leagues of England who would have no problem employing him in a few years.

Just going back to your remotely possible excuse, Was just reading a fair few post on Twitter saying they have concocted a role play story up to get him off. Wouldn't suprise me but I guess we'll never know.
 
Greenwood getting off was always gonna happen after ‘her’ dad’s behaviour imo.

If the rumours of them getting back together are true, it wouldn’t surprise me that’s her dad’s doings too.
I’ve heard the recordings and I don’t need a court to tell me he’s a real piece of shit that deserves to be in prison or better still in the ground.

They won't want him anywhere near the club, same goes for Mendy for us.

I agree, Greenwood will most probably resurface for a club willing to take a punt on him, maybe a championship club brave(or foolish) enough. He'll need thick skin though, just like our ex players, Johnson and Evans needed.

I think he actually got arrested for breaking his bail conditions because they were living together again and one of the conditions of his bail was a restraining order making him stay a certain distance away.

Lack of support from the victim is responsible for 60% of rape cases not going to prosecution.

They don't need to concoct a story, she just has to not cooperate and the CPS would have dropped it.

I know that, But you'd still want a story to tell the world it was all a bit of fun that got out of hand. Even though it's absolute bollocks.

They'll just stay quiet. The role play nonsense was circulated by weirdos trying to excuse the tapes when they came out, it's highly unlikely that Greenwood and co. would use the exact same defence.
