Well said mate. That's a whole lot of common sense.I've 'got over' it now.
The club and supporters need to be positive and move forward.
We need to attract big name players. That may mean paying a premium and handing out long term contracts given the uncertain future situation the Premier league has put us in.
We have to keep Pep and get him on board. Prior to the PL announcement I was toying with the view of managerial change in the summer. IMO that option has now gone.
The Premier League may still a bit of a long shot but the CL and the FA Cup are still very much on the cards and the team need to get themselves motivated and helped by the whole club. ( supporters included and starting on Sunday).
In addition the powers that be in the club need to reinforce the public relations message that we have done nothing wrong and will be vindicated as they did prior to the CAS decision.
Total support.
Siege mentality.
The fightback starts here.
Worse, I guess. Would mean that we wouldn’t necessarily go into the Championship. Never coming to that though, imo.Would expulsion from the PL not be the same as relegation?
You came across really well mate. Well done, can’t have been easy in that room.
Sorry if already posted ,todays tomes.View attachment 68526
If they had any evidence remotely like that it would have been passed on and the old bill would have kicked our doors in at about 06.00.What this hearing could lay on City could end up in a criminal investigation if they reach the ludicrous high bar of what they are trying to prove. Hypothetically if the inland revenue rattled down the door and found criminal evidence of wrong doing, we would be off to the high court then.
Would expulsion from the PL not be the same as relegation?
It's from the PL Handbook. There's no references to transfer bans or stripping of titles. They can also refuse to register a player or remove an existing registration.Do you mind me asking what the source for that is? Not doubting you, of course, just interested in where you’ve read that as I keep seeing people claim that transfer bans, relegation and the stripping of titles are options available to the PL.

To the Liverpool hackSorry, isn’t linked to what?
The more time passes, and the more we find out, it is looking increasingly clear that the realistic sanctions are nothing like as severe as originally mooted.Worse, I guess. Would mean that we wouldn’t necessarily go into the Championship. Never coming to that though, imo.
STOP COMPARING US TO RANGERS!!!
Rangers were investigated by HMRC for tax fraud essentially, they went bust due to no revenue and a huge litany of unpaid debts (including a face painter of all people!), they had to liquidate the entire company and re-register as a new company. This was entirely of their own volition and through decades of baffling and systemic mismanagement and asset stripping by a series of idiots and mercenaries. It's only by a very unusual quirk in the world of football that they were even allowed to re enter the Scottish professional league (realistically they had to or Scottish football was fucked).
IT IS NOT THE SAME
No. The Liverpool hack was literally ex-City employees who still had access to our database from what I can recall. Pretty amateurish stuff from us, really. Nothing to do with Rui Pinto. To the Liverpool hack
It's from the PL Handbook. There's no references to transfer bans or stripping of titles. They can refuse to register a player or remove an existing registration.
Would that only be likely if the infringement was to do with playing personnel? For example, it is discovered that a club allows a third party to retain part-ownership of a player. It's from the PL Handbook. There's no references to transfer bans or stripping of titles. They can refuse to register a player or remove an existing registration.
Likewise no offence was meant. I will dig out that post and delete it.
btw I am mainly catholic heritage but with a Jewish gentleman somewhere on my grandmas side, so again no offence and best wishes.
Thought only FIFA could impose transfer bansDo you mind me asking what the source for that is? Not doubting you, of course, just interested in where you’ve read that as I keep seeing people claim that transfer bans, relegation and the stripping of titles are options available to the PL.
I still feel that a heavy fine, mainly for non-cooperation (similar to CAS), is the most likely outcome. The more time passes, and the more we find out, it is looking increasingly clear that the realistic sanctions are nothing like as severe as originally mooted.
Not sure if this has been posted. But seems balanced.
