I was there as well. I drove down from Manchester for the match. I was sat on a wall at the back of the terrace. I was next to a guy from Newbury who decided that he was really a Swindon fan and joined in cheering the City goals.

It was a shame that City lost to Leicester after a replay in the next round. City played Leicester 7 times (2 were replays) in FA Cup and League Cup matches over four seasons from 1965-6 to 1968-9. That was the only one that City lost.

I try and get to the Etihad when I can but I want to watch City when they are playing and unfortunately that means paying for a sky/BT subscription.

I know others will call me stupid for not using a fire stick but if it wasn’t for the money that the PL attracts, would we have our current owners?

I only watch live matches and the golf, I never have sky sports news on due to the bias.
