A fantastic weekend for us (apart from them lot winning). We have got ourselves exactly where we could hope to be after losing and drawing some horrendous games, for a whole host of different reasons.
Anyway, one game at a time, let’s concentrate on ourselves, as we have done the last 4 out of 5 seasons, and see how it pans out. There’ll be ups and downs blues and it‘ll no doubt be horrendously nerve wracking but strap yourselves in and enjoy the ride. Remember, ‘We fight to the end’. CTID

Them lot are boring and irrelevant.

Exactly.
Last time we had things in our own hands after beating Arsenal at the Emirates, we dropped points at Forest a few days later. Get the Bayern game done and dusted and then concentrate on Leicester - nothing gained by looking beyond that.
Is the right answer. One game at a time. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

our fixtures couldn't be much easier the Arsenal game aside

Leicester, West Ham, Leeds, Chelsea all of whom are basically all either without a manager or just got a new manager and carried on being shit.

Fulham, Everton, Brighton, Brentford away.
Everton will defend for their lives, Brighton & Brentford will be tough.

Leicester new manager curse also on Saturday look how shit Everton were when Dyche took over and they managed to beat Arsenal.

If we get passed Bayern we'll have a double header against Madrid or Chelsea which I think will be either side of Everton away and Chelsea home.

Long way to go yet, I'm already starting to feel sick haha

Just what we needed that yesterday, there a top side arsenal an doing brilliant, but city are just at it ,they just are, they shud of got beat yday but point was all we needed, now they will seriously feel the pressure now because we are breathin down there necks, got to be a horrible side to be chasing u down city, wudnt be suprised if they dropped at west ham sunday, that aint an easy game ,1 game at a time bayern next ,COME ON CITY !!!

Also BULLSHIT they're "really happy" with a point!? What utter bollocks. It's now in our hands... yeah I'm sure you are happy with that.
It is still in their hands as well. Given how close they came to getting nothing and their record at Anfield, I'd say they are happy with a point.

Most of the board is assuming that Arse will try and bore a point against us, we may find that they'll need a win to keep with us (especially with potentially a couple of games in our back pocket).

A draw to leave them 2/3 points in front when we have 6 more points to play for than them is going to fuck them up big style.

Only if they drop more points in their next two games and we get our 3 in our 1.

Otherwise, a point is all they need.

Not sure why everyone says its in our hands. I think it makes us favourites now but bar the game on the 26th April we have no control over what arsenal do. If we win every game 1-0 and they win every game 3-0 (bar the defeat to us obviously) they would win on goal difference so whilst that draw gives a momentum swing it's not quite as simple as win our games and we are champions though it should be enough if we do it's not a given.
I’m not sure you understand the meaning of “in our hands.”

If it was not in our hands, there is nothing we could do to win the League with out Arsenal dropping more points. Now that it is IN our hands, we don’t need Arsenal to drop points, we just have to win our remaining games and not surrender a 5 GD cushion. If we beat them, which we would have to do to keep it our hands by then, that GD would obviously improve by at least +2.

As long as Arsenal feel the pressure from us, we know there'll be twists and turns.

I'd rather be in their position but they're not as strong as the City / Liverpool sides over the past 4 seasons so let's see if we can reel them in.

Barring any major injuries I'm confident in our team.

One plus for City is that we could have two games a week now until the end of the season. It gets the rhythm and momentum going for the run-in. No time to ponder and worry about the next game too much because the next game comes so quickly, you are forced to be ‘on it’ all the time.

Whereas Arsenal do have time to worry about each game. They only have one midweek game left.
Agree, always think we're better when we're regular playing.

Yep. And at least another plus one for the other game in hand we win too. So we'd have to relinquish a minimum GD advantage of +8, and a goals scored advantage too.

People talking about a +5 GD but, if we beat them, it is at least +2 on top of that and we have a game in hand so, assuming we win that, another +1 again. So, they may need to outscore us by more than 8 to get the GD back. Looking at the number of 1-goal wins they’ve had, that feels less likely to me. Remember Liverpool chasing the GD in 2014 and it blew up in their faces.
