Be surprised if Stones starts. Non of the other defenders can step into MF and play that role apart from Rico. Pretty sure he will be saved for the 2nd leg with his past injuries. Pep mentioned about looking after Stones in one of his pressers a few weeks ago.

Id play Stones, Rico would get absolutely bullied by Onana and Doucoure and we dont have the home bias to protect him.

Hopefully this can get the job done, () obviously means sub if the game is won by the 60th minute-ish. However, 2pm on a Sunday is one of those kickoff times that's sort of an "anything can happen" for me (see Wolves H 19/20)

It's the business end. We need to win this to be 4 in front and 3 to play. I think Laporte, Mahrez, Alvarez, Foden and hopefully Ake can come back in. Others will be fine on 4 days rest.

Dyche and the shit kickers will come at us all guns blazing however they are mot all that, their league position tells us this. Doesnt mean we will treat them lightly.

Win and we pile the pressure back on Arsenal. They are running out of games and they and their fans know it. Let's hope that's enough for us to comfortably beat them.

Delightfully Brighton will be hurting after that mauling by Everton and will be in no mood for another. They are capable of getting points at Arsenal although we have to plan for them getting 90 points.
Win this and It's possible we might need a win and a draw from our last 3. It wouldn't be over but the fat lady would be clearing her throat in the wings.
