Champions League Final | Useful Information

There’s no chance of them closing the gates before the game starts. They’ll tell you all sorts but they can’t sell you a ticket for all that cash, have you travel thousands of miles and then lock you out. Did you see the terrible publicity they got last year?

As you say Paris. UEFA and Istanbul is such a fuck up waiting to happen you never know.

This site looks good with travel info from airport etc... and how to get an istanbulkart https://www.moganddogtravels.com/bl...-city-centre#how-istanbul-airport-city-centre From another article I read the metro is 24 hours at weekends BUT not the M11 line which is the last leg to IST airport on way back so that rules that out if needing pre 6am transport. I am planning hvist16 bus back from point hotel taksim to IST around 5am but I hope they have a lot of buses on as I think there might be a bit of a queue!

Sorry to be a pain bud but ive got a lebara monthly contract on android. Is this a detour so you can use it as a PAYG sim whilst there and then revert back?
I'm on lebara.
They told me it's £1.50 to receive a call and £1.99 to make one.
I'm getting an esim to use over there.

Does anyone know whereabouts the shuttle buses are dropping us off in the city centre after the game

Where are people getting their Lira from? Annoyingly the minimum Lira I can find online is 150 GBP. I only want some cash for street vendors etc., who may not take card.

Is it worth taking out of an ATM once over there?

I went to the local Post Office yesterday, they had it in stock.

Can anyone confirm. Thanks.

We have to be inside the ground 2 hours before kick off? And the stadium gates will be closed at a certain time before the start of the match? May have read it, but I can’t remember exactly. Thanks.

Getting there on Thursday, so going to try and do a dry run to the ground on Friday with a few beers in a bag, via the designated UEFA route for City fans. Will post an update if I do get around to doing it?
That'll be handy if you can get round to doing that mate. I do think it's wise to set off for the ground from the city centre a 4-5 hours before kick-off. No way am I intending on leaving anything to chance.

Uerochange in the Arndale. Entrance on High St. First right and on the right. Changed just £25 worth yesterday.

Thought id just pop this on here , for any others who may come across the same.
We had booked 3 nights with booking.com , yesterday the money was supposed to be taken . I woke up to a email saying booking would be cancelled if i didnt update my card , the same card i made another booking with 2 days earlier for somewhere else without a problem.
So i checked was no problem with the card , but i updated it just in case , i got confirmation card was updated.
Few minutes later i got a email saying the hotel had cancelled my booking.
After a few messages via chat on booking.com the owner sent me his whatsapp number .. he tried telling me booking.com was having problems and leave it with him and he will sort it out . We had booked 2 rooms for 3 nights for 364.50 euros , this morning he kindly got back to me but said the price is now 480 euros , i kindly told him to feck off and you cannot rip city fans off .
The hotel is called Hotel Pino Verde in taksim he now as the rooms on booking.com for 612 euros . talk about trying to cash in ? so watch your bookings in case there all at it . Weve rebooked and paid elsewhere .

I'm going to load Lira onto my Wise card, and do a mix of using that card for purchases over there and perhaps drawing some cash out of an ATM too. Think it will have to be an ATM associated to a proper bank to avoid copping any charges though.
