Back was even worse next day and the pain kept coming in waves, to the point where I was just moaning. Three days in a tramadol haze to relieve the pain.

Mine was done just before Easter weekend so I got home on the Thursday night not realising I only had 24 hrs of the strong pain killer.
I was in agony for 4 days until my GP prescribed another weeks worth. Been signed off from physio and have a 3 Month appointment with the surgeon.

Agony at the time but so glad I had it done. I wouldn't be able to walk now without the replacement. Impressive scar too!!

Gall stone got stuck in my pancreatic duct .Gall bladder got sepsis - the pain was memorable but morphine is pretty good.

Gallstone. I thought I was dying it was that bad. Had to have gallbladder removed a few months later and could hardly eat anything for 4 months beforehand. Lost almost 3 stone in 4 months.

Walking down Calton Hill in Edinburgh with a broken leg wasn’t the most fun I’ve ever had. But reading some of the stuff on here, I feel that wasn’t nearly as bad. Although it fucking was a tad sore.
