300 million there to spend apparentlyFoot off the gas as weve reached the pinnacle

There might be that to spend but the squad doest have many spots in it until players have gone300 million there to spend apparently
I still don't think Kalvin Phillips is a weak link at all. Although not in Rodri's class he can still fill in and can add a different dimension to our play (especially with Haaland). He happened to be signed during a unique season where the World Cup fell in December and he was injured when we signed him. His conditioning post World Cup didn't help matters with Pep but he managed to get back in shape enough for Pep to consider him in the cup games. Similar to Laporte the Japanese tour is an opportunity to get back into contention. Both haven't really pissed off Pep to the extent Cancelo had.
We're pretty set at DM after watching Kovacic & Rico vs Bayern. Both ace. And we have Stones and maybe even Gvardiol who can play DM.just get at least a winger please, ideally a dm too. bobb and mcatee are too green, philips doesnt look city quality

You and me both mate.i will take a right wing to sub mahrez then, specially if pep doesnt count with palmer
Do you actually know what long term injuries mean. Jesus with Zinchenko left because they weren't getting enough game timeKovacic, Alvarez, Akanji, Gabriel Jesus were 15-30m players who give great depth and can fight for a spot in the starting 11. Other teams have players in that price who can fight for a starting position in our team.
Other than long-term injuries? Let's gamble on that not happening then. Even better let's have a world-class first 11, and all the subs being from academy. After all, we could cope if none of the 11 get injured. We are literally 2 players away from this being the case.
To sub Marez? I can't see him getting many minutes with us himself this coming season. Regardless, we've still got Bernie or Alvarez there.i will take a right wing to sub mahrez then, specially if pep doesnt count with palmer
Alvarez who hasn't played on the wing for us once?To sub Marez? I can't see him getting many minutes with us himself this coming season. Regardless, we've still got Bernie or Alvarez there.
Another winger would allow Bernie to play more in midfield as well.Gvardiol and a winger who can play both sides and I think we're set. I'd prefer another midfielder as well but I don't see it.
I count 19 (and that's ignoring 1 or 2 who may fit nicely in), you're talking nonsense. Or perhaps playing too much Fifa '23.I hate this type of arguments. No one wants to have two first teams. But if you think there is no problem with the squad we have right now, I don't know what to tell you. I assure Pep is not satisfied with the size of the squad now.
Right now, we have 13 players who can fight for a starting position. After those 13 players the quality drops significantly. If someone fron the future tells me that none of those 13 will get injured in the season, then sure our squad is good, but that is very unlikely.
You're missing the point.I count 19 (and that's ignoring 1 or 2 who may fit nicely in), you're talking nonsense. Or perhaps playing too much Fifa '23.
And KdB, Haaland, Foden, Rodri, Stones & Dias all have career ending injuries picked up in the opening game? You're missing the point.
In order to panic properly, you have to assume everyone who is linked with a move leaves, while every incoming transfer collapses.
You'll see him out on that side plenty of times in a match, there's nothing to say Pep wouldn't play him out there.Alvarez who hasn't played on the wing for us once?
