Season Tickets - 2023/24

I suspected this to be the case.

Absolutely ridiculous for the club to state the Season ticket allocation was full & every single ST renewed.

Just be honest in declaring the club are trying to maximise revenue at every single opportunity & they’re a greedy bunch!
Loads won't have renewed because times are hard for many and the Treble is a natural point to knock it on the head for many long-timers. In the short-term the club needs seats to relocate those affected by the North Stand expansion, but with so many memberships being sold, even if they return to selling seasoncards, it's hard to see how getting one won't be a lottery for years to come.

Confirmed that there will be no new season tickets this year as the club wants more tourists. FFS.
No chance that not one single ST holder out of the 40,000 decided not to renew so this is a blatant lie from the club, and don't expect any to "become available" either because match tickets are released next Wednesday.

I don't think they did say that, the only communication was to stayed there will be no new season tickets released this year

Sure - they're not going to explicitly state every single ST renewed. But the club did communicate no STs were available this season due to the allocation being full which certainly suggests this but we all know this isn't true unless the allocation decreased which of course then means some STs were not renewed.

Around 1% will have died.

Think people of over estimating how many have not renewed.

Monthly direct debit scheme and an almost guarantee of being able to sell any game you want mean it’s as easy as ever to keep it going.

It’s possible, assuming there is an official figure, that they were over subscribed when those that deferred came back and those that “took their places” also renewed.

The last two seasons may have been just getting back to the previous number.

Thats what a lot of rag season ticket holders have been doing for years, keeping the ticket for their family or friends after someone had croked.
go to the big games and flog the others at a big profit or flog them all.
they had an amnesty a few years ago .

I wish the club would just be honest rather than everything being so cloak and dagger. Just come out and say “we currently have x amount of season ticket holders, our business model means we need to get this figure down by x amount so until then no new season tickets will be put on sale.”
At least then everybody hoping to get one in the future knows where they stand.

Wouldn't any newly available S.T.s go straight to the 1st on the waiting list??

its self explanatory.
someone dies,the family keep it,for whatever reason,to go,or to sell .
A few issues with that, the majority will be over 65 or approaching, and they would need to share passwords before hand.

On the new downloaded ticket i cannot see the barcode which was showing for each game last year as on a few occasions showing this let me into the ground ?

I think I read recently that Liverpool have an official policy where you can arrange to pass season tickets down to family members when you die.

Only realistic chance of getting one there. The 1,000 who’ve just got them in their new stand have been on the waiting list about 25 years. And no one has been allowed to even join the waiting list for about 10 years.

Mine as appeared and had an email off City, but unlike the last few years,my season ticket from last season hasn't gone into the " expired " section, I'm on android btw.
