I am totally with you on the confusion front!

The reality is that no one knows at this moment the nature of Chelsea's potential breaches, or indeed how a seemingly erratic body such as the PL will deal with things.

I think we can both agree that the PL isnt fit to run itself. An organisation that needs stolen doctored emails and a club to tell them of something odd before they investigate lol. Bent as a nine bob note.

Yet al the time it's ok to register your club in the Carmen Islands run up nearly a billion in debt. Both the dippers and rags vetted the chairman of the PL before he was given the job.

Absolute fucking bollocks, the due diligence would have flagged this but you spent record amounts. I think a certain Northern Club maybe feeding a bit of info to damage the hateful 8, never back a Tiger into a corner, the fight back is inevitable.

I don't know why you always seem so angry and aggressive in your replies in here. It's just football. We're all just people who happen to support different clubs. It's not that deep.

It was noticed during the due diligence done during the sale process and immediately reported to UEFA. They took until the other day to announce a decision, and it was reported around then that the PL would conduct their own investigation, which is being reported on now.

They may be cooperating now but wait until there is a four year investigation into all transfer activity over 12 years including requesting information from Abramovic's companies and THEN see how cooperative they are.

Yeah they should still cooperate, if that's where the investigation goes. At least I hope they would. It's all hypothetical though.

The whole FFP is bollocks. It serves no purpose, hasn't and won't stop dodgy owners running clubs into the ground. You had a good owner who backed the team. Then due to some utterly dodgy shenanigans, yet another yank owner comes in and buys a club. The dippers, rags and chavs, all bought in a dodgy fashion with zero benefit to the club, or local community.

Honestly mate, I don't claim to be an expert in the murky world of football finances. I read Swiss Ramble sometimes and I try to stay informed on what my club gets up to. If Abramovich did some dodgy shit, then honestly we should have the book thrown at us. Chelsea agreed to the rules.

Yep. Seriously, I think UEFA have scrutinised club accounts far more than the Premier League ever have. You only have to look at the number of clubs that have been found to be in breach of UEFA's FFP regs since they came in to see that. It's literally dozens and dozens of clubs across Europe. Our opponents in the CL final this year are currently in the middle of their second settlement agreement with UEFA.

Yet up until the Premier League referred our club to an independent panel earlier this year, not a single PL club had even come close to being found to be in breach of the PL's FFP rules. I honestly think for years that they'd simply been waving everyone's accounts through with barely a cursory glance at them!
