Doesn't matter whether he did or not
Well if a club is thinking of paying the fees being quoted it should be a consideration.

The club will pay what they think his value is. Hopefully, both parties are not a million miles apart and it will get done soon.I was more thinking from the City perspective what has he done to consider paying the fee being mentioned.
Disagree. You are looking at it from what he did for WH, not what he could do for us.Well if a club is thinking of paying the fees being quoted it should be a consideration.
They would but they wont get it because its this simple, city would like him but we dont need him, his release clause kicks in next summer and we will take him them and they will be left with a pissed off player for a season, it would be a smart move for them to ask for the release clause now and be done with itWest Ham would be mad not to demand 100m too.
Mahrez and Gundog have left sure, but when you consider 2 world class players, Foden and Alvarez need to get way more game time, not sure we need to many reinforcements. We need numbers, as it stands we are 2 players short (winger and a cm) imo. One injury and we are pretty fucked tbh
City need a player now. Guessing they wont return next summer with probably other targets ready then. They would but they wont get it because its this simple, city would like him but we dont need him, his release clause kicks in next summer and we will take him them and they will be left with a pissed off player for a season, it would be a smart move for them to ask for the release clause now and be done with it

When Kev is fit, Phil plays on the right. When he isn't, Phil plays in the middle.
Bernie and Kova can alternate, with Bernie filling in on the right when required.
The big issue is what happens when Jack is injured.
Given that Bernie and Foden are 2 of our only 3 realistic options out wide as well, there's no way on Earth we've got enough midfield cover, particularly as McAtee and Perrone just aren't ready for the 1st team, except on an occasional basis off the bench.De Bruyne, Bernardo, Foden, Kovacic, Perrone, McAtee is enough in midfield. Would rather make do for a season than go and get Paqueta.

BoringI reckon us paying 45 million for Kalvin is crazier than 100 million for Paqueta.
Not for me put ou Phil in the middle he'll smash the league.
This couldnt be more wrong if you triedPep's reluctance to play him there likely stems from him not being able to defend, he's not remotely aggressive and gets pushed off the ball by a slight breeze. Gundo wasn't the best at getting stuck in(he did at times) but his interceptions were elite, decent in the air and he was very hard to dispossess. It'll make us very unbalanced if you have Phil and Kev(defensive work is starting to wane) starting together as Rodri will have to do it all himself, with Stones in defence out of possession.
Phil would be brilliant playing off Erling or CAM with say Kova and Rodri playing but he's not an CM/8 imo.
It's a grind innit.West Ham will now be upping the fee for Paqueta now again after the useless dipper dicks paying £111m for Caicedo?
As I expressed mine.Well I know that but as were discussing it on a forum I am highlighting im not convinced he is worth the money or his form last year justifys the fee. Its a forum and its an opinion.
read the grealish thread he's shite anyway always passing backwards safety firstThe big issue is what happens when Jack is injured.
