Aye they're both shiteHe’d be perfect for Moyes’ West Ham

I really doubt we pay more than we did for Gvardiol. The only way I can see us paying £85m for Paqueta is if West Ham give us our money back for Phillips.Looking at all factors (clause, other players fees etc) 85 + loan would probably be fair.
He meant Phillips as a sale and Palmer as a loan. Not possible. One loan only
Dont get too excited, nothing close yet ;)I've just watched the customary Youtube highlights video, and now I'm excited about this.
Depends how much they want Palmer / if we can spell it out to Phillips. There’s incentives for them to get it done imo.The dipper deal may have fucked this to be honest with the price? Would we wait a year and do the release clause or if Pep is desperate now as it seems we want another top class midfielder do say £90m and Palmer on loan for a year?
I've never been involved in these big deals but i cannot see, IF city and west ham are talking since monday+, that West Ham suddenly decide to up the price even more? Could be wrong. The dipper deal may have fucked this to be honest with the price? Wouldn't it be 75m less any fee we got for Palmer in a year ?! We won't be giving him away. All in all, as i said on Twatter, £75-£80 million pounds and Palmer on loan for a year with an option to buy will do the deal. It will probably take the whole package to about £110 million.
We’ve never been in a situation where we’ve clearly got it so wrong and have had opportunities to get rid early.I just don't see City sending Phillips the other way round after a year. We have never done this after investing after only a year.
Of course it is, but if the lad wants more playing time then I see it as an obvious move, now that the Scousers are paying £110M for their new midfielder.
He will certainly be back down the pecking order at City I feel,so a good move for the lad.
Another incentive is not having an unhappy player and getting that big fee to use on new players.Depends how much they want Palmer / if we can spell it out to Phillips. There’s incentives for them to get it done imo.
More than likely they will want another package worth around 100 million. It's how we package the deal.Wouldn't it be 75m less any fee we got for Palmer in a year ?! We won't be giving him away.

And if West Ham really want Palmer, they cant just up the fee if they are currently speaking since midweek.
He strikes me as the homesick type. Nothing in that, just my own hunch. Manchester is a lot closer to Leeds than Newcastle / London. That said, surely he realises he’s putting his career at risk. He certainly won’t be at the Euros if he stays here, imo.Phillips while having a great attitude backing himself needs to just accept that he just wont make it here?
