Lucas Paqueta investigated by FA for alleged betting breaches

a few weeks later and my conspiracy theory sensors are twitching, just a hunch but here goes( i expect to get called a **** for this btw)
when we were talking to west ham about "rice" maybe were weren't, maybe we were talking about paqueta , get involved in the rice "auction" because arsenal would see that as a small victory against us when they outbid us, then we can talk about paqueta , im more than likely a million miles away, but i always claim our management team are on a different level to most other clubs.

It's certainly a thought, given our track record in the past.

No need to get defensive. City won’t get into a bidding war for a player. It is a fact that he also struggled last season. Is this Rawk now levels of denial?

Are West Ham and city that close? Didn’t think we had many allies in the league.

If that was the case, why didn't we start talking about Paqueta about three weeks ago, rather than basically during the season?

I think we were struggling to understand the outgoings. Gundogan decided not to renew, eventually, so squad place replaced by Kovacic (RIP). We then had Bernardo looking for a new home, but looks lie that won't happen and then whilst Mahrez may have wanted out, I'm not sure it would have happened without the Saudi bid. We now have a spot for a winger, which led to rumours about Mitoma, Doku etc. The alternative is another central mid, allowing Bernardo and Foden to play wide right, hence inquiring about Paqueta.

I suspect we've got a couple of options on the go, both centrally and wide and we'll see who we can get over the line for our valuation.

I do too but makes me feel we really aren't done as 2 out the door and one in makes me still nervous on the squad make up numbers.
That Kal's been sitting in his house coat most games not sure it makes a huge difference however Packeta crisps in does really impact his ability to get in as it's slim as is. You'd have to think if WHam have interest in Kal at all- Kal would see his "stay and fight for me spot" attitude as fanciful at best and he'd be better served with a move to a team he could actually get into.
