The 180 degree pirouette he did was a work of art.Yeah, if it would have happened against us you'd be raging.

He gets so many penalties for someone not very “active”Rashford would get a pen tripping up before coming on as a sub !
Thought he was good yesterday.
I like a physical game and we are arguably usually the most physical team in the league. Håland usually bullies his opponents but yesterday was combatted.
We could have had a penalty for one of them but I thought by the LOTG the penalty we did get was extremely harsh so that evened out.
By the Laws of the Game, has he really made his body unnaturally bigger by sliding in and naturally using his arm to balance and the ball hitting him from close range of about two yards away?
By the Laws, I think that’s harsh.
Other than that, he was good. Booked their lad for a poor tackle on Grealish and didn’t do anything controversial. He was mostly in our favour really.
I bet a read on the SheffUtd forums would be very critical of him. I bet they think the awarded penalty was a farce.
Looking good for us getting into Europe next year on fair play rules...After three league games, there have been 9 bookings against opponents and 1 red card. Our only bookings have been Alvarez and Guardiola.
Those were the days finishing 11th and trying not to get bookings in the last couple of games with Barton and Bosvelt in midfield lolLooking good for us getting into Europe next year on fair play rules...
Lokeren here we come!Looking good for us getting into Europe next year on fair play rules...
Didn't dunn get sent off in one of those gamesThose were the days finishing 11th and trying not to get bookings in the last couple of games with Barton and Bosvelt in midfield lol
There’s a high probability or he scored an og :-)Didn't dunn get sent off in one of those games
We’ve been awarded some very soft penalties ourselves.
The reason a player remains active when behind goal line is to stop them deliberately stepping off to play a player offside It was changed awhile ago for this reasonActive like Casimero was in the build up to the rags goal ? How can face down on the floor amongst the photographers be active unless he was trying to film it?
My reading of law 11 is that it doesn't differentiate between a player stepping of the pitch deliberately to gain an advantage and one whose natural momentum takes him of the field of playThe reason a player remains active when behind goal line is to stop them deliberately stepping off to play a player offside It was changed awhile ago for this reason
Correct however they changed the interpretation to ensure that the deliberate act couldn’t benefit difficult to determine wether it’s deliberate or otherwiseMy reading of law 11 is that it doesn't differentiate between a player stepping of the pitch deliberately to gain an advantage and one whose natural momentum takes him of the field of play
Otherwise any defender near the touchline could step off the pitch hoping for an offside if they couldn't affect the ballNever understood that being off the pitch in that position is playing the attacker onside, until ref watch .
Another shool day .
Don’t think McBurnie impeded Ederson anyway so still wouldn’t have been offside
Definitely right in his line of vision and almost on the path of the ball, might well have been disallowed imo except for KyleDon’t think McBurnie impeded Ederson anyway so still wouldn’t have been offside
He was nowhere near the path of the ballDefinitely right in his line of vision and almost on the path of the ball, might well have been disallowed imo except for Kyle
Just before it reached the goalscorer, there was also a deliberate obstruction on Gvardiol which hampered him from getting closer
Years ago we were playing at Wolves when Adebayor was still with us. He was in the area going towards the by line. He stopped the ball, which remained in play, but their momentum took him and the defender over the line. Adebayor turned quicker that the defender, who clipped him.Cheers, just crossed my mind when seeing Kyle have his little lie down.
It‘s never happened to my knowledge.

He missed a 5 yard tap in a little laterWith those sliding ones yeh they sometimes seem harsh, but had he not handled that one yesterday, Haaland would have had a 5 yard tap in, so any Sheff United protests would be pretty hollow.......
