It’s hard to accurately explain, but does anyone else feel a tiny bit sorry for Maguire?
I know he’s a rag bastard, and he’s shit but still, a tiny part of me feels bad for him
Nope. Fuck him. He's decided to stay and anything that's happening is down to him.

Other than having to sack off one player for being an abuser, putting another on leave for the same reason, inviting a nonce to their stadium as a guest of honour, breaking financial fair play, losing to us in an fa cup final and watching us win the treble, losing both their away games this season, buying an injured striker, loaning an injured midfielder, being stuck with Maguire for another season, the Glazers seemingly sticking around and being a billion in debt they’re not having a bad few months

I know where you're coming from.

But... No!

He made his choice and signed his contract.

Let this be a lesson to any footballer out there with a modicum of potential. If you sign for the rags you'll surely regret it.

That club is done. It's over for the vermin and so will your career if you get duped into joining them.

Defo something going on. None stop negative press about them, never seen anything like it

Bad press aimed at the rags usually indicates there's about to be a changing of the guard.

Neil Ashton has probably preped his old cronies in the media..... it's open season boys and girls, do your worst.

Either that or the club are in such a free fall that there's no way of spinning it for them anymore.

The target market for shirt sponsors is not the fans of the club. It is tv viewers. Given the reach of the PL, one could say tv viewers worldwide. Secondary market is corporate guests as sponsors can put on lush entertainment packages.
It could be argued that shirt sponsorship is a correct vehicle for consumer brands but not for b to b companies.
I said to Mrs Vienna at the Newcastle game that stadium advertising is aimed at the people watching outside the ground, not those in it, as it used to be.

All a cunning plan to drag the value of the rag's down. They're desperate for a change of owner's. They're all on it together.
