The last thing Klopp and the cult want is for the Spurs game to be replayed. If the Premier league gave in the dippers would have to find something else to complain about. As it stands, without a replay they can moan all season long. 'Those 3 points would mean we'd 'ave won der league/finished 4th/6th, we wuz robbed.'

Addendum.

It has been pointed out to me by Liverpool Football Club supporter groups that while this apology is welcome, it does not go far enough or address the central issue. I now accept that Spurs did not win this match. Liverpool were the worthy winners. And it was wrong of me to suggest otherwise.
Did you apologise for knicking 4 of their PL titles of em as well?

Fella from Anfailed wrap on Sly now, has talked more sense than Klopp Neville Carragher and the rest of the red media put together

Why would Spurs agree to a replay?, They did nothing wrong and played the game in good faith allowing the officials to referee the game and make the final decision,

Not really a subject I’ve got involved with or listened too with any intent, or interest till this morning, but one way to iron out these issues would be to have the ref at the monitor getting the same pictures as the VAR room, instead of twiddling his thumbs, with a simple red or green light for goal/no goal

What a fucking hypocrite, is anyone surprised though.
Of course not - and bear in mind that Roma game was the semi following the qf where we could have come away with a 2-2 at Anfield, but ended up 3-0 down, and even then we had that ridiculous offside error in the 2nd leg.

Yet, because of the "assault" on Salah in the final, there was a petition of over half a million people calling for action.

I always put salt on greasy chips…!

Had the misfortune of conversing with a dipper today. I asked him why they boo the national anthem and he waffled something about the Torres, Thatcher and Hillsborough without giving me an answer. Next question was why do you boo Abide with me. His answer was what’s that? I lost the will to live at that point.

If I were told before the season started that a club would become embroiled in a dodgy decision/cock up row that would lead to calls for a replay, and I had a billion pound to stake on who that club would be, every single fucking penny would have gone on Liverpool.
100% mate

The VAR victims?

They’ll be a new type of claim advert soon:
‘Have you been affected by a VAR decision? Has a wrongful decision caused you loss and hurt? VVL4U *, VAR victim lawyers for you, are a professional and dedicated scouse hit squad who will threaten and whine on your behalf of your victimhood. They are a ‘no win, we sue’ group, so you know you can continue your lifestyle of leisure at others cost, safe in the knowledge that others will actively work instead of you, for your monetary needs.
Don’t delay, call today on our free dedicated victim line, just speed dial ‘19’ ‘6 times’ to be connected to dedicated scousers whining for you’

* not to be confused with the VVD4U fan club
NO win NO league

I think we need to involve Mourinho in this national debate.
He hates the Dippers with a passion after that "ghost goal" at Anfield whick knocked Chelsea out of the Champions league.
I'm sure he'd be interested in a replay.
His destain for the Dippers seeped out of every pore as he celebrated Gerrard's slip which contributed on them missing out on the title.

I'm beginning to like Maureen now.

I just hope Negouai manages to keep his gob shut about how he scored his only league goal for City... we've got enough on our plate with that world club thing without an extra game against Rotherham.

What about the goat as well, handled the hall into the net in front of the North Stand to see us through to the play off final in 1999. We’d be back in division 2 again, we’d have to rebuild Maine Road for the game to be played but we’ll worth it to invade the pitch again.
