I think we need to involve Mourinho in this national debate.
He hates the Dippers with a passion after that "ghost goal" at Anfield whick knocked Chelsea out of the Champions league.
I'm sure he'd be interested in a replay.
His destain for the Dippers seeped out of every pore as he celebrated Gerrard's slip which contributed on them missing out on the title.

You mean this one. Gives you goosebumps;-)

Had the misfortune of conversing with a dipper today. I asked him why they boo the national anthem and he waffled something about the Torres, Thatcher and Hillsborough without giving me an answer. Next question was why do you boo Abide with me. His answer was what’s that? I lost the will to live at that point.
Sounds like you met one of the smarter ones.

The game wouldn't be replayed because it would open the floodgates, just expect every scouse decision to be picked over by the officials.

This could actually backfire on to the feral bastards.

It’s mental mate for Klopp to even suggest it, It can’t be replayed. Prior to VAR the goal would not have stood as the onfield decision was to rule it out. Therefore VAR, in itself, didn’t cause the issue - it simply failed to correct an onfield error.

Like you say it would open the floodgates to all sorts of “game to be replayed” nonsense - then we’d have to decide what incorrect decisions would constitute a game to replayed. Perhaps they could decide if VAR failed to spot a “clear and obvious error”.

So we’d have the product that was designed to spot clear and obvious errors being checked for clear and obvious errors. At some point I hope some bright spark says “you know what we got shit wrong before VAR as well, let’s just get rid of VAR”. Sky sports will love to have the replay option, of course, as the drama will never stop…nor will the season for that matter.

VAR is complete garbage, as it stands. It lengthens the matches considerably for no real benefit. Refereeing has always been somewhat subjective. It still is, it seems.

Hillsborough was a tragedy, so was heysel, so was the bradford fire along with numerous other sport and none sport related tragedies that have happened over the year, i dont get why they think that this one requires more protection and talking about than any others
I'd imagine it's because the fans were blamed for it. Also the Sun accusing the fans of stealing from the dead bodies.

Not really a subject I’ve got involved with or listened too with any intent, or interest till this morning, but one way to iron out these issues would be to have the ref at the monitor getting the same pictures as the VAR room, instead of twiddling his thumbs, with a simple red or green light for goal/no goal
I wonder if there should be cameras in the VAR rooms. They do in some countries. Even if they don’t show everything, it would stop any unprofessional behaviour happening in the rooms.

They could be all in onesies munching Doritos with a few beers for all we know.

Why do all the other clubs have to sit and take this shit time and time again? It's like the 1970s TV show It's a Knockout, Here is Liverpool Playing their Joker card again

VAR fucks up week after week and costs teams points and all they get is the sorry phone call from Howard Webb
Why and how can this rotten-to-the-core club keep playing the joker card? then point fingers and even demand a replay, Hold on, Spurs are not at fault here, Why would they offer to play a replay?

What Klopp said in the post match interview is clearly breaching the rules, Any other club and manager would face a big fine and a 3-match ban for bringing the game into dispute.

JUST get on with it like all the others have to do, Listen to the phone call by Howard Webb and move on
The media don't fucking help by calling it the worst VAR decision ever. Complicit cunts.

With iPhones in hand & bet365 on the go

Put some glasses on and you’re there :) can’t find the interview online, but he was pretty much spot on with what he was saying, doesn’t agree with Klopp etc or the call for replaying the game
