They know thetly are done for so expect as late as possible while they feather their nests more and scorch the nation of assets and cash
Totally agree. Their thinking will be to scorch the earth as much as possible between now and then to give Labour no chance of success. They know thetly are done for so expect as late as possible while they feather their nests more and scorch the nation of assets and cash
Exactly this.Totally agree. Their thinking will be to scorch the earth as much as possible between now and then to give Labour no chance of success.
after the election he will be gone anyway, they will go truss2.0 or some such loon np matterI'll go May - things will be so bad for the Party and Sunak personally over the winter he runs the risk of a confidence vote - he will have a sub 60 seat majority by then which will make him more vulnerable to 22 c'ttee letters as fewer will be needed - un-met promises will have come home to roost shit you could have pensioners or kids freezing or starving to death if its a bad winter and already "his" press have started to turn on him. I don't believe he will want to face another conference so won't go the distance.
Not soon enough

Compare the UKIP manifesto with the latest Tory policies. There's a lot of similarities. The talk today is Farage into an easily winnable seat ( if they can find one at the GE ) and when he becomes MP there is a move to get him to lead the Tories.

There are 2 Tory seats up grabs with By-Elections on October 19th:
Mid-Bedfordshire - Nadine Dorries and Tamworth (Tam'uth) - Chris Pincher.
Get hammered in them, Sunak should call an Election in December or early 2024.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Tories plan is to try and turn the election in to a one issue referendum. And the most likely issue they will think they can get support, is over dealing with immigration.
I think these speeches we’ve been hearing lately from the like of Braverman, with ever increasing hostile language, is just testing the waters.
I think they will continue to let the asylum process become more and more clogged up. Become more and more of an issue with the public.
And then sometime next year come out with some radical barmpot plan of dealing with it. That even Starmer won’t be able to shy away from criticising.
Go to the country and declare the election a referendum as to whether you want to turn Britain into a third world country, overran with illegal immigrants, or let the Tories save the day with their tough but fair plan of dealing with it.
