The problem is what do they do then?

Chances are if they don’t take out Hamas they will be attacked again and it could be worse next time. War is always difficult and there will be casualties on both sides, but it will get to a point where you have to do something.

Hamas basically want to wipe out all Jewish people, I don’t see how you can just leave them to get on with it and hope some kind of peace treaty comes in, especially after what happened last week.

If any country was attacked chances are they would fight back. We just need to consider how do you keep as many innocent people as possible safe.. which is difficult

A lot of it isn’t unconfirmed at all though. There’s literally images of babies who have been executed and entire families burned alive. Is that not enough evidence for you?

Of course there’s disinformation - that’s the internet for you/ life in general. There’s clear evidence of horrific things going on with both sides.

No not at all. Killing innocent people isn't justice.

So Israel needs to kill as many innocents as they wish because Hamas would kill all of the jews if they had the ability to. Hamas could be neutralised by other means.

It's not acceptable to escalate the conflict into full out war and take tens/hundreds of thousands of lives because of terrorism.

I don’t know if you’ve been paying attention for the last 20 years but Israel killing loads of Palestinian civilians, bombing them to hell, blocking the borders, not allowing them to have power or aid or fish in the Mediterranean or have an airport or a seaport and continually building new settlements has done absolutely nothing to protect Israeli families.

They cannot stop this with violence.

They will invade, kill 40-60,000 people (half of whom are children) and the Hamas leadership will be watching from Qatar laughing themselves silly that they’ve just got another generation of recruits.

How do you neutralise Hamas by other means? What do you do about the rocket attacks that fly over into Israel in the meantime?

The only answer really is a ground campaign but that is likely to be far more dangerous and still result in civilian casualties.

The short answer is Hamas have to stop and until they stop they're responsible for what happens because Israel will always argue self-defence.

The leadership in Qatar isn't barking orders like military commanders. Those left in Gaza will fight to the death irrespective of what happens to the leadership. If anything it would energise them to attack more, you can't negotiate with that and there's only one way to stop them.

The leadership in Qatar controls the money and weapons.

The ones in Gaza can’t fight without them. Cut off the supply and in a few months off they’ll have no rockets or ammo left.

And 'sleepy Joe' and that Charlatan in Downing Street will say nothing. apart from 'we stand by Israel', any idea why dumb fuck Sunak has send the RN and marines there?, unless it's to help evacuate UK citizens why are we there? Is he looking for his Thatcher Falkands moment albeit on a much smaller scale?.

A negotiated safe passage for some of the lower ranked fighters to go into exile. Families can go too if necessary.

Use a 3rd party non aligned military to guarantee that when they give themselves up.

Israel can target who it holds responsible for the attacks that remain in Gaza with targeted assassination. And play the waiting game.

Cut off the routes that have been used to smuggle weapons into Gaza and offer development aid in return for weapons.

It's all probably pissing in the wind but Hamas isn't just a blob of Death Cult. Within that faction there will be schisms of thought that want to avoid being obliterated.

Shapps today has admitted they have no idea how many UK citizens are in Gaza or indeed the number of British hostages being held there - but he thinks they are doing what is needed????

It can’t be that hard to work out. You cannot move anywhere without a passport. Not just flying to Israel and back, but to get to Gaza or the West Bank, there’s security checkpoints everywhere that require passports being scanned.

Get a list of every single person whose passport has left the country for Israel in the past year, cross out everyone who has returned. That takes out 99%.

Then try to contact the remaining 1%.

Everyone who can’t be contacted is missing. Then you work with the Israelis to track their movement around Israel and Palestine checkpoints.

I suspect they have a very good estimate of how many people we have missing/dead and 6 days after the attack a lot of the dead will have been identified.


He’s probably just not announcing it because they don’t have a definite exact number.
