If we want to be the best club on the pitch, then we have to create an iconic stadium, as said earlier the internals are well on the way to that, but an iconic exterior finish would be the cherry on top of the cake.

Really interesting if true, Liverpool are not allowed the Nike “swoosh” sponsor written in the seats in european games as Nike don’t sponsor Uefa
So they have had to do a smiley face over it which makes it look like a worm!
Never knew that!
I thought that would be one of the main reasons to sponsor a club, for the european games to get your brand out to the whole of europe

Surprised they haven't just turned it inside down and claimed it's a sad face to reflect all the hardships and persecution LFC fans are subjected too by the nasty authorities and "bully boys"

Yellow car park B at the SW corner of the stadium, next to the old Mercedes garage.

Edit: at least it looks like public parking in front of the building?

The souvenir store is now at at the old City At Home building next to the main entrance and security barrier, where the players coach comes in. The souvenir store staying there until the redevelopment of the North stand, including the new and larger souvenir store is completed and open.

Not been in, so I don't know if the shop is upstairs, but it is downstairs.

I don't think you can park outside the store as those car parking spaces are for staff and visitors.

I'm going down tomorrow to take some pictures, so I'll have a look around the souvenir shop as well.

Not read all the thread but when i went on the City tour in the summer the i aksed the guide when the extension would be ready and he said it should be 2025 , which looking at the amount of work involved appears optimistic ,i know we have been approved for 2028 for the euro's instead of the Swamp but hopefully the new stand will be ready well before this.

That doesn't even look bad compared to where the side stands meets the stand behind the goal on the right hand side of that first picture. What is going on there?

They might give a reduction in price for an obstructed view , they should charge more if it avoids watching Klippety's over achieving long ball merchants.

A 2 year build for the new stand is not overly optimistic.

According to City's website "If you're visiting the stadium on a non-matchday, parking is available at the Blue car park, accessed via Alan Turing Way (Gate 2) or the Yellow Car Park (Gate 11)."

Unless they've not updated the website with the expansion starting, that's the one right next to the City at Home building accessed from the New Road.

Oh I don't know about that. In common with Newcastle fans, supporters of what they like to call the 'real' Liverpudlian club are so deluded as to believe they have some divine right to be winning trophies. Prior to our recent success, Everton fans were the ones who routinely chanted "You've never won fuck all" whenever they played at our place. So, thick as pig shit as well as delusional. Nah, fuck 'em along with their feral cousins across Stanley Park.

Same layout as old store, downstair is mainly adults upstairs is kids and shirt printing
