The Conservative Party

He's actually managed to sink his show to lower standards than Matthew Wright's show, which is some doing considering he was once considered a serious Journalist.

I'm looking forward to him replacing Nigel Farage on GB News in a few years time.
I only ever see the clips on social media. All 5 channels in the daytime are filled with utter dross that poison more than they entertain.

We seem to be in the age of debate where both sides try to be as overdramatic as possible at the same time as not really caring. Being booked is enough for them.

I think it's entirely plausible to claim that phone lines can be 'besieged' if more call in than there is time to see.

I don't think it's a surprise that they don't take walk-ins, given the MP's murder in Essex.

she doesn't even live there and is seldom seen there - she is a poundshop Dorries and thats saying something. Its a recurring pattern and problem they have in the NE red wall seats - loadsa UKIP chancers got elected and thought that was that no work needed after that.

I have no reason to disbelieve that of her, but that is a different issue.

As I have said before, the fundamental problem is the FPTP voting system. This forces anyone who wants political power to join one of two broad coalitions, commonly known as 'The Conservative Party' and 'The Labour Party'.

The current problems within the Tory Party arise from its deep divisions. Among other identifiable types within it are 'One Nation' paternalists, libertarians, UKIP types, and those who are more or less fascists. It's unsustainable. It should split into two or three parties, but if it did, not one of those parties would have a hope of being elected under our bent system. Indeed, they would be fortunate to win a seat. It is a hopeless recipe for stable government, these various groups being forced under one banner. It's rather like us having a supporters club that takes in City, Rags, Redscouse, Arsenal, and Hampshire Cricket Club. Beyond absurd.

Labour is no different in essence, except that Starmer is currently enforcing a sterile 'unity' and throwing out anyone who dares dissent.
