The thing is elections are a two way street, if you want to get rid of someone then you need something else to vote for.

At the moment I definitely won't vote Tory but I'd have to think very hard about voting Labour because right now I have no idea what they stand for. The only other alternative is the Lib Dems and christ knows what they stand for nowadays, I haven't heard anything from them resembling policy for years.

Rather ironically we all know who we shouldn't vote for but we have no idea who we should vote for. That's perhaps why most people are turned off to politics, it's because the options on the table are horrendous.

Just choose between lying bastards and not lying bastards.

I agree.

FPTP is an antiquated system harking back to the days of the Whigs and Liberals and not a true picture of the country we live in.

It suits the two parties dominating politics so why would they change it?
