30/30 passes and a goal.

I'll forever believe that he's underappreciated. Maybe not as much by blues but certainly by football fans on the whole. Fans will see Palmer(whom I rate very highly) walk into Chelsea and be arguably their best player yet failed to really break into a far weaker squad than Phil broke into, and still say he wouldn't be the main man on an inferior team.

So good on the ball and despite maybe not hitting the back of the net as much as we'd like over the past year- he's still outperforming his xG over his career by a WIDE(+10) margin.

Those 3 touches to control the ball after getting that pass from Doku in heavy traffic, wow.
Watching him with a ball is like watching this!

He is the best naturally gifted English player since Gascoigne , the difference is Gascoigne was a dickhead and didnt achieve anywhere near what his skill set should have , Phil has his head screwed on and will break all records for an English player , trophies won . most caps etc. When waistcoat buggers off he will be the first name on an England team sheet for the next decade.

Still wish he would play him more centrally as he spends too much time out almost on the sideline at times and not in the game as much as he should be. He's at his best in and around the penalty box. But him and Bellingham will surely win England something sooner or later.

He’s far better on the right for me going at his fullback.

As long as he plays I'm happy for him to be anywhere. But personally I want him on the ball as much as possible, especially when De Bruyne is out, and that will happen more often if he's closer to the middle. But who am I to judge Guardiola's tactics at the end of the day, handsome as I am.

Completely agree and it's weird because Pep plays players in there who turn the ball over FAR more often than Phil does/would.

Dont think Pep will try to tinker for Foden away from the RW. He is on fire there.

Alvarez and Bernie are likely the midfield starters. With Nunes, Kova and Lewis as the backup.

Over time he will play in midfield and this is why I want us to buy a RW down the line in Takefuso Kubo. Letting Foden play centrally when I assume Bernie asks to leave again.
