PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Re your second paragraph. I think you are right in terms of them managing to get any charges home. But if part of the rationale for the charges was to smear the club, tarnish our achievements in the eyes of the world and appease the cartel clubs and their sheep, it has been pretty effective.

It’s a desperate fishing trip designed to extract information to try and trip the club up which is why Khaldoon has told them to go sling it if they want more information. It’s interesting that the Premier league have tried to widen the charges out to player image rights and Mancini’s wages. They probably don’t have anymore info from the initial Uefa case so are desperately trying to hang those two points to make something stick.

Unfortunately for the Premier League the people who run our club are a lot more cleverer than they are. Which is why they have some chancer like Richard Masters in charge who was forth choice for his job. It won’t end well for them.

Is there a possibility the allegations isn't that we've colluded with these multi national organisations but duped them too? As in, they aren't part of the alleged conspiracy but would be 'victims' of one (if everything the PL alleged is true)?

That's even less likely than collusion unless you think all these relatively successful companies are run by naive mugs.

Isn’t there a famous photograph of all the senior executives of these companies and organisations meeting in a New York restaurant to work out ways to eliminate serious competition?
Oh….wait a minute…..that was someone else wasn’t it?

There lies all the answers to the conundrum that this is a witch hunt is all about. I have that picture of them all sat around a table at a New York restaurant and each individual is identified has rags dippers and I believe spurcy. Bent has fuck that they are all sat there and no reason for them to be eating together other then to carve out a scheme.

I always make a point of saying we were rightly fined for none cooperation, however the fact that CAS reduced the fine by 2/3 was due to them agreeing with us that we were right to do so with the leaks of information.

Absolutely.

Didn't they make the point that if UEFA had been told everything they were told, they don't see how we could have been found guilty in the first place? But clearly they can't let City off completely because, no matter that UEFA were leaking info, they can't accept a precedent that you can ignore the governing body and just wait to go to CAS.

But for the same reasons, I don't see how they (sponsors) could be interpreted as being involved in colluding with us and duping the Premier League.

I only asked because the poster I quoted says that we're accused of being in collusion with Nike, Silverlake, Nissan etc. I don't see how that would be the case? Of course this is all caveated with the fact I haven't got a fucking clue, but I'd have thought the allegations if proven are more likely to show that we've falsified books to the Premier League AND the likes of Silverlake, Nike, Nissan rather than have involved them in our conspiracy?
