I know, but it’s infuriating to see us lose certain games or draw and then watch those same teams roll over for other transfer st which we are competing for trophies!

I guess it’s the high price of success, which should be appreciated, but it pisses me off when it’s literally one week to the next…esp when we don’t get a result that weekend!

It's what happens and has happens for decades the under dog raising there game we used to be that team.

So, what is the overall view of Poch's progress thus far? I haven't watched a lot of them but judging by their league placing they can't be doing too well - despite the 'scattergun' approach to buying players.
Not that I care one way or the other, but they are playing the verminous bastards soon so I want to be fairly confident they can destroy the rags.

Don't rate him

They were at home and players do raise there game again the treble winners plus Sterling and Palmer proving a point! They were both average at best yesterday and palmer couldn't be bothered tracking back
Palmer was poor but Sterling at least scored a peach, something I would like to see Jack or Doku do a bit more often.

Listening to the Newcastle v Chelsea game on the radio on the way home from the match the other day, and Chelsea get a free kick in a v dangerous position. Debate over who will take, don’t let Sterling anywhere near it, I wisely comment. Bit of a Paul Power v Ipswich moment again!

Since when did Chelsea become a basket case team?!
Since when did Chelski stop being able to perform well against good teams? I thought it was the low block, defensive lower league teams they had problems with..?
I am confused.
Basket case team indeed.

Car crash of a club
Course no one will bat an eyelid when they spunk another fortune in Jan..
I remember a lot of posters on here had them marked as potential title challengers before the season started. I never thought they were even top 4 challengers; I always thought they had too much ground to make up in one season. They finished 26 points behind the 4th placed team (Newcastle) last season. Now Newcastle have regressed, but other teams (Villa, Spurs, even Brighton) have improved in the same period. As of now, not even halfway through the season, Chelsea are 14 points behind the 4th placed team (er; us!). It will take a huge effort for them to switch their form around and get a CL spot for next season.

Poch is an over rated manager, I really don't understand the hype around him. He made a fundamental error in dropping an in form striker for an injured Kane in thr CL final too. Did a good job with Southampton, bottled the title with Spurs.
