A bit of perspective at the end of this interview. We'll come good.
Indeed, we are yet to drop a point in any game he's started this season, I believe the control he offers is vastly underratedNo I disagree. He can hold the ball in the middle which we desperately needed in the previous matches. Some of the pass were good some might not be that inspiring but don't forget this is probably the first time he plays in the middle for quite a long time.
That Grealish move and pass to Alvarez in the first half was also elite. Should get an assist.

Such an insightful response. Thank you
So true, the only thing lacking in his game is regular goals, he telegraphs his intentions so much when he is shooting. So pleased for him to have scored the winner. Easy to see how much it meant to him.
He benefits so much from the freedom to come just a little bit infield.
The frustrating thing is that I think his instincts are generally pretty good. It's not like he's trained himself to think his way out of constant mad wayward shots or anything - when he does try something first time it's usually a decent idea.So true, the only thing lacking in his game is regular goals, he telegraphs his intentions so much when he is shooting.
Would love to see him just instinctively hit the ball and take a chance, he can hit a ball when he wants and could and probably should be contributing far, far more in terms of goals.
But a player with big personality, perfect for games where the crowd and opponents are aggressive.
Its a big if still, but I think he's learnt that he needs to get in those positions more (instead of waiting on the edge of the box) to score these type of goals. Augurs well.Good performance. 2 goals in 2, hopefully he keeps the productivity rolling. Could have notched a superb assist too if not for Alvarez botching the finish.
His finishing isn't great lets be honest. Reminded me of his goal at Arsenal last season, poor contact but somehow managed to beat the keeper. He was a bit lucky with the goal. It wasn't the cleanest strike. Kaminski will be disappointed.
If he could improve his goals tally, that would be a big boost. City need more goal threats outside of Haaland and Álvarez.
He should be aiming to score 8-10 goals.
I didn't realise my response had to be insightful. I was genuinely impressed by this stat you shared so I said wow. Sorry next time I'll write a paragraph of how much I enjoyed your statementSuch an insightful response. Thank you
I like it when Pep picks Bernie and Jack on that left hand side, like at the swamp. They seem to have a great understanding, but I also like Doku on that side as well. Decisions, decisions.Thought he was jolly good today. Excellent touch and willingness to get on the ball. Should have struck first time in the opening half but was good to see him in the middle, too. Clearly been given licence to drift inside and allow Gvardiol to attack up the flank. Need more such in the coming weeks.

Still, 2 goals in 2 outings, should do his confidence in front of goal the world of good.
"Doku is more direct and concentrated on his goals, than creating chances for Haaland.."The value of Jack is that he always plays for the team, always determined to assist..
Maybe that's because he is not that sure with his finishing skills and tries to overcompensate that with this approach, but doesn't matter, when you have player like Haaland - that's something you need in a team..
Against Luton I would prefer player like Doku, cause if Haaland isn't available, you need more direct attackers, who have individual abilities to create chances and score..
But when Haaland is available, i prefer Jack as a LW than Doku, cause someone has got to feed the beast and Doku is more direct and concentrated on his goals, than creating chances for Haaland..
