Without ever looking like he would unlock the door......I thought he did ok last night,most definitely he looked more confident and much fitter than his previous outing.
He plays a very significant and specialist role in our side,he'll soon be back to his treble winning best.

Exactly what I said and thought last night. The mistake for their goal apart I thought it was getting back to the Jack who was unstoppable at back end of last season.

He put a cracking cross in for Haaland with his left foot this season never done it since! With Haaland in the box he should always try to get it the byline and cross the ball with to the far post! Surely he can do that or work on it week in week out! He should also forget this that the cross might go to the opposition player! He seems scared to death of giving the ball away!

Horrible the abuse he received, didn’t he leave the pitch in tears? I’ve always hated the thought of booing a player of your own team.

He did, I got to know him when he was doing his rehab after an ACL injury, lovely guy, genuine and humble, which made that abuse even more horrific.

I thought Jack did okay last night. Looked better when he cut inside early, but struggled a little with their compact defence, as did everyone at times.
