Don’t think they’re usually overly concerned about workday night games. Jokes about unemployed scousers aside.
I’m usually out from about midday for home night games and you’d rarely know there was a game on until a couple of hours before kick off.
It’s late kick off weekend games that they often have a problem with.

Playing Monday then Thursday isn’t any different to Thursday then Sunday.No way that lot are playing Monday and Thursday, they'd be able to hear the howls of outrage on Mars.
If anything it’s in the dippers interests to play on the Monday as it would mean the short turnaround would be bookended by two home games rather than playing us less than 72 hours after a European away trip.
