Just an observation. Our early leavers and they leave in droves which is sad but true I’m afraid. If you look at dare I say it.. Liverpool. The majority and a big majority stay right to the end. This is factually correct if you take a lot at their match tonight and I’ve seen them countless times on the tv. It will all help come the end of the season. Yes it’s paining me to say it!! I wish our own fans had the same mindset and back our amazing team right to the end. I’m going to duck now.
Nope. Saw em leaving early last night

Yep spot on.

Bizarre that any blue would want to come on a City forum and big up the horrible feral dipper scum fanbase.

Let’s get one thing straight, I have absolutely no love for Liverpool fans. I dislike them like the vast majority of City fans do, especially after the coach attack, the hacking, the cowardly plastic pot filled coin attack on a City fan, and their general antics against City, Pep, our players, and our fans.

But.

Why because he’s telling the truth? That isn’t bigging the Scousers up. The fact is Liverpool fans do stay until the end of the match to support and to applaud the team, as a rule. Some, a very few do leave early. You don’t ever see Klopp going to a half empty KOP clapping them and doing his annoying fist pumping in-front of them.(I’m not asking or expecting Pep to do that). As others have stated, if our support had stayed until full time and supported the team instead of leaving early and staying quiet, maybe the recent draws at home would have turned into wins? Maybe not?

Did you see him yesterday having a go at the stands during the game, why anyone thinks Anfield sets a standard I don’t know...

We’ve slated their support last night and after previous home matches. It’s only the media the perpetuates the Anfield atmosphere myth. Most fans from other clubs also know it’s a myth. But wait until City go Anfield, it will be a cauldron of noise, especially if Liverpool score first. Klopp will tell the Liverpool fans to get behind the team, just like he did for the Arsenal match.

Tbh even though I always stay until the end I can‘t fault anyone who left early against Sheff Utd and a few other games, once we got to 2-0 we just started fucking about and all our corners finished being eventually passed back to Ederson as in keep possession was the only game. On Saturday I was very bored with it and cold and would have probably left early if I don’t car share. The stadium being half empty when we have just battered Utd or Liverpool is inexcusable but on other occasions I think the style of play hasnt helped.

Or “get down to the ground early and show them what we are all about” aka come and smash their coach up, don’t worry, the old bill will never come after you even if they do collect hundreds of hours of footage.

If people want to leave early that’s up to them. Everyone has a choice.

I agree with your observation. Whether we like it or not, if it frustrates us or not, once City are in a winning position they tend to play the game out, keeping the ball, passing it side ways, backwards, etc, which isn’t the most exciting football to watch. Unfortunately against Spurs, and notably against Palace (arrrgh!), that has cost us 2 wins. But to remain unbeaten in 2023 at home is a very special achievement, so credit to Pep and the player for doing that. :-)

He needs to go into the Tunnel Club before kick off to have a word. :-)
I might have mentioned this before lol but when Pep waved at the Tunnel Club against West Ham last season, I got a chant of Come on City going that spread around the ground. Thst was my one and only visit to the Tunnel Club lol.

Yep I’m not ducking now. Watched their game tonight. All stayed to the very end even after result was never in doubt. Klopp over to the kop doing his think and kop respond in their thousands to huge cheers. We have to do this too. It’s all small wins and Liverpool are going to the wire again with us. Our fan base home support really need to sort ourselves out. It’s embarrassing when we come off the field taking the plaudits. Worth some points when you back your team. Another poster reckons we could have got results against points dropped this season and won those games if the fans had backed this amazing team. I totally agree. Time we backed them properly at home. Liverpool fans have shown us how to do it.
Absolutely nonsense

That’s something to be proud of mate. There aren’t many people who have got the Tunnel Club chanting.

The club can do without Ultras like you .....waking people up at the ground.......Disgusting behaviour.

Now where is my prawn butty.....on a muffin

I sneaked into the padded seats behind Pep and the dugout once a few seasons ago. Apart from the very comfortable seats it’s not for me. But if people can afford it and that’s what they want on a match day, good for them. I did enjoy watching Pep and his antics in-front of me.

I don’t think there’s much danger of me going back in there. The security manager was underwhelmed with me winding up Andy Goldstein (Talkshite) who was doing commentary on the back row of the T.C.
