PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Apparently Everton are now facing further charges , originally Premier league said they could exclude interest charges on their stadium and have now change their minds and dropped Everton right in the shit . UEFA did the same with us moving the goalposts so we had to take a "pinch" with a £30 odd million pound fine , and yet when the Dippers put an ivoice in for £50m for a project regarding a move to Stanley Park to avoid FFP charges that was OK.
It was widely reported Richard Masters was vetted by the Rags & Dippers before his appointment so he knows which side his bread is buttered , the quicker a government football regulator is in place the better , the Premier league need reminding there are twenty clubs in the league ,not two.
Red Dippers got away with sanctions after being able to offset "appropriate stadium expenditure" against FFP losses and now they take the moral high ground, lording it over everyone else as some sort of moral arbiters for "the good of the game". Puke making hypocrisy.

IIRC the loan taken out by the stadium arm of the club was used for operating expenses, not the stadium.

If that's the case Everton dropped themselves right in the shit.

Love FFP. Benefits City more than anyone else.

Clubs who tried to put us in a straightjacket, didn't legislate for Pep making City the huge force we are, nor tying their own hands behind their backs.

I look forward tomorrow when Masters and Parry go in front of Ministers to explain why they haven't reached a financial arrangement with the Football League.

Popcorn TV.

Be careful what you wish for :)

If its the Big6 responsible for the delay as alluded to by Kieran Maguire and we are named in that "elite" group you know how this ends in the media. It's our fucking fault. :)

I find it amazing that all other football fans are too busy pointing the finger at City when they should be pointing the finger at the premier league and ffp.
The PL and FFP are currently bringing the league down from within.
For what?
All to help stop us and other teams competing and most importantly protecting the ‘elite’ Red cunts.

That Premier League statement comes across extremely arrogant, doesn't look professional at all. They say both clubs agree to a breach in the rules and then Everton put out a statement that basically says 'no, most of this charge is being appealed under the previous charge'.

It's complete amateur hour and not a good look on the league at all.

i do think the penny is starting to drop with some opposition fans. I met Geordies before and after the game on Saturday in the pub and on the train and they were all great. They have seen the FFP farce in all its true colours. They all appeared to have a deep hatred of Arsenal (because of diving and time-wasting); United (because they lead the cartel); and Liverpool (because the scouse fanbase causes trouble everytime they play Newcastle apparently).
That was my experience as well. The stark reality of being "the richest club in the world with no disposable income" has revealed FFP in all its glory to the barcodes.

This is something else that makes me feel we are going to be fine, every single action they seem to take is riddled with inaccuracy and challenges. They really don't think they have a clue what they are doing.

And there you have it.

Aided by the Yank Red Shirts clubs.

This is clearly the Premier League looking to stave off the cause nationally for an independent regulator in football and show that they can regulate and govern the game accordingly.

Probably written by Liverpool FC

Forest and Everton fans are complaining that we haven’t been punished, but the “rules” that made us face charges were historical and unclear. Forest and Everton had time to get their heads around the rules, and broke them. We might or might not be found guilty, but they have no excuse
Do you think these charges would have happened was it not for the need to set a precedent
