Gas & Electricity

Hi mate. Should be Menu then My account and scroll down on the right hand side for change tariff. Maybe put in a request in to Octopus for a new gas meter so as you can migrate to tracker.

I just won 800 points on the "Wheel Of Fortune " Definitely on a roll this week

Its a pound : /

I always win 8 points. :-(

The downside of the tracker is that it’s not price capped.

It’s fine unless there’s a spike in prices. You can just then return to their flexible rates for free, but can’t go back for 9 months.

Just had my duel energy bill for the last quarter. 245 quid for my 2 bedroom pad. Thought it was gonna be at least double that, so I'm rather pleased wi'mi sen today :)

So the rate is coming down in April but standing charges up and now we are having to pay extra for people who can’t afford their own bills, sorry but I didn’t sign up for that, soon you’ll just have people not arsed about paying because we will all just supplement it!

Ours was installed by EDF too funnily enough. I'll have to ask Octopus as well.
EDF did ours but other way round, gas fine electric never worked, asked octopus to look at it hopefully they can sort it out

So far I've had British Gas, EDF, E.On and now back to British Gas. All have failed.

I'm convinced that my issues are because the electric meter is just inside the front door and the gas meter is on the outside of the wall at the opposite end of the house (too big of a gap in-between), However the last engineer said that the distance between them could be double what it is and would still be in range.

Fingers crossed you both get sorted with Octopus and I'll give them a go too!

Can’t fault them go in touch today they are replacing the electric meter next Tuesday! Hopefully they don’t fuck up the connection to my gas because to do a reading in that every month is going to be a royal pain the arse it’s boxed in my cinema room

I had an email from EDF stating my dd for gas & electric was going to go up from £139 per month to £210 per month. I rang up to complain, stating that I was on a fixed tariff and was paying a higher unit rate already before Ofgem announced the upcoming price reduction, thinking that my costs would stay the same over the term of the contract. When I said I am prepared to leave them and pay the £150 exit fee, they suddenly reduced my dd to £150 per month. Still an increase, but I can live with £11 per month extra rather than £71 per month.

£250 or wotever, we should all drop to our knees and pay respects to our wonderful Government for throwing scraps to us peasants.

They always try raising my dd but everytime i ring and say no , it is a numbers game with them , the more people they do it to a % will just accept it . Tbf they did do a full refund of credit the other day without asking so they are a mixed bag mostly

Strangely, they dropped mine from £128 to £113 last October randomly.

Edit: crap, my 3 year deal ends September this year, not looking forward to that :(
