I’m hoping rather than expecting common sense to prevail and the spectre of appeal is avoided. However, I wouldn’t put it past them to bang and tarnish us as guilty with little or no evidence just so the smear campaign can run on and in fact be turbo charged. Also, I assume any appeal process would be expedited within a much shorter time frame.
 
So we should know the hearing date by mid June. Possibly the timetable set out by Stefan a few months ago might slightly out but not by much I'd say. This is me being optimistic :)

The thing is why has he been made to talk up about it, He knows just as much as anybody else outside of the club,
Yes, it's a fan debate and Sky and its pundits know how to twist a story to suit their fan base, But legally should the major backer of the Premier League (Sky) be allowed to debate the 115 unproven charges?

I feel for Steve because he was very much cannon fodder, Spit the Dog Carragher was leading the blind and putting words into others' fans' mouths and was so untrue and lies, It was just a witch hunt with hate by the scum spitter.

Manchester City should be getting Banning orders to Sky and the overlap for shows like this because it's a controlled witch-hunt before proven guilty,

The thing is, Manchester City owners doesn't have to prove we are innocent, it's the Premier Leauge that has to prove we are guilty and find any wrongdoings, Uefa very quickly found out we were in the clear and CAS found NO dodgy deals or Sponsorships deals, All that come out was a fine for time-barred information being release by Manchester City to Uefa.

MANCHESTER CITY, Stop the media witch hunt by Sky and other media outlets, Legally nobody should be asking questions and pointing fingers before the outcome, SKY and its Pundits are leading the witch hunt and its them that are saying we are guilty,

FUCK me, Gary Neville on the Overlap made an outstanding statement about 2 Italian clubs using drugs or doping when he and United played them in the champions league, How can somebody say that sort of thing in public and show it on youtube without punishment or any sort of repercussions.

Excellent - another 2 years of being slagged off, the club undermined, transfer targets put off, investment streams hit. Looking forward to the biggest counter lawsuit (apologies GDM) in sporting history in 2027 then.

On the plus side I highly doubt Pep will leave before this is sorted.

He may well stay for many years to come but, he gets us and won't be going until this witch hunt and his trophies are deemed legitimate.

tbf since we have had the charges we won the treble so i dont think its hit us to hard, we keep on saying that the club is undermined but in real terms how much reach do the daily mail and sly sports have, its just an echo chamber of idiots preaching to idiots and apart from annoying us on here it doesnt have any real material affect on anything.

Investment streams wont be hit as has been seen over the last two years businesses do not care about some moron on youtube spitting their angry bile, nor do they care about the daily fail and its inane ramblings, they know you wouldnt trust the date in most of the msm cos they two have been on the end of their lies and falsehoods.

In terms of players being put off, after the charges we signed a young fellow called haaland who just happened to be the most wanted player in the world at the time so not sure its putting anyone off and once again if they are put off by media rants and youtube fools then they dont have the mental fortitude to play here anyway.

The reality is this forum is a chamber which echoes the nonsense pervading in the outside world purely because we are so bored of hearing lies, the reality is for the most part all this crap in the media is just idiots feeding other idiots, its the football version of love island in that the vast majority of people know its crap but there will always be a core minority of muppets who watch and defend because it makes them feel less stupid.

As we get nearer and nearer to an inevitable crunch time and the baying mob voices are raised higher - it must have some negative effect. Can't just dismiss it as inane ramblings and the product of echo chambers of nonsense - the charges are real, the publicity is on the whole negative, questions have even been asked in Parliament.
Haaland was indeed a coup - but lets not dismiss his Dad's input and that they must have known any punishment was many months off.

I will agree on all that apart from that i do believe it is inane ramblings, it is the same people rehashing the same crap over and over again
