Fucking hell, he has had one good season, ever, at managerial level.
Let's see how he goes over 2 or 3 seasons before thinking of him replacing Pep if he goes.
He might be the new Pep, he could also be the new Eddie Howe
i'd say last year was quite good, as he took them from second bottom to sixth.

this year they've got a decent chance of winning every competition they've played in, without losing a single game in the process, and an outside chance of breaking the bundesliga points record.

looking at the alternative names being considered by liverpool and bayern, you realise he was the outstanding candidate by some margin.

if pep does leave next year, barring a pretty spectacular fall from grace, i don't think it's ludicrously premature to speculate that alonso will probably be in the mix. the fact he's already snubbed the two culture clubs certainly doesn't hurt.

So this is on a watch forum. Dipper fan having a go at a Newcastle fan stating that Newcastle fans are obsessed about Liverpool, Barcodes fan had a nice response to put him in his place (the Dippers fan comment is below the response because that's how that forum works so best read from the bottom up). The delusion is real folks.View attachment 112192
What's the watch forum?

Watched last 10 minutes of the game this afternoon and although leading they started to get jittery and went deeper and deeper, Brighton at home and shutting shop silenced the crowd big time.
Sheffield won't lay a glove on them but others will as the pressure builds, still life in this title yet.

Social media has lots of content about Klopp meeting Sean Cox at Anfield yesterday. He was attacked by Roma fans in Liverpool before the Champions League tie against Roma in 2018 and was left severely injured having to go through lengthy rehab and learn to walk again.

The actions of the Roma fans that attacked him were undoubtedly influenced by the attack on City's team coach in the previous round which was facilitated by Liverpool FC and Merseyside Police.

No bus attack = no injury to Sean Cox

Liverpool's pet media are trumpeting Klopp and the club's concern for fans but the truth is that they fail to take responsibility for controlling their supporters and actually encourage reckless behaviour. Ashamed of nothing.

Still all to play for and after watching both games yesterday I can see it going right to the wire.
I thought there was a clear difference between the two games and it was all about mentality. As was said above, Liverpool seemed to lack the calmness that will be needed over the next few weeks. Despite it being a high pressure game, both City & Arsenal appeared to be relatively calm and just play as they normally do. However, I thought the tension and "must win" lay heavy on us.

When you thibk about it even if Liverpool do win their second title in 35 years all is not lost because come August when all the klopp going bollox is done we have a new season and all is forgotten only this time they don’t have klopp and also I would imagine some of their senior players inc salah will move on whereas we will still have pep and we will still be signing top players . So city fans it’s not that he end of the world .
